Music Shit / Re: Cheater Slicks

I remember reading years ago somewhere on the net that there will be a 2LP reissue of "Don't Like You" with demo recordings on the other disc. Also a 3LP reissue of "Forgive Thee" was mentioned. Anyone know what's the situation with these releases?

This is coming out next year. Tom Shannon recently gave a proper mix to the pre-album demos. They sound awesome.

First post ok. Wondering what people are most excited about for the upcoming year.

Does Tyvek or eastlink have a new LP coming out?

Yes. There's going to be a new album and an internet-only LP of outtakes in 2015.

In The Red is proud to announce the new double vinyl reissue of The Intelligence's debut album, Boredom And Terror. Originally released on Narnack records in 2004, Boredom And Terror is the first time Lars Finberg stepped out from behind the A-Frames' drum kit to showcase his own music. Later releases by the Intelligence were fleshed out with additional musicians but on this debut album Lars was an army of one armed with an 8 track recorder and a notebook full of songs.

This new edition of Boredom And Terror has been newly remastered. The original vinyl release contained an 11 track bonus CD which we have included here as a second LP. Both housed in a beautiful gatefold sleeve. The first 200 copies come on grey with black splatter vinyl.

arndales 12" tracks online, out soon on itr. diggin' it ok.  The website says it's country teasers related, definitely hear similarities but doesn't sound like wallers singing to me. anyone know what's up?

Leighton Crook, the Country Teasers drummer, plays in the Arndales. Ben Wallers isn't involved.

New record available today on In The Red! The debut release from the UK's Arndales titled Dog Hobbies USA. Six song 12" EP that plays at 45 RPM and sounds totally badass!! Pressed in an edition of 500 - first 200 on gold vinyl. ARNDALES consist of four men. Notable bands/artists they've been/are involved with: Country Teasers, Thrilled Skinny, Badgewearer, Gag, Montana Pete, Pregnant Neck, Collapsed Lung, Zuno Men and Jad Fair. They?re menacing, menacingly good! For fans of The Fall and Country Teasers.

Meatbodies color vinyl is gone but we're good on the rest right now.

COKED!!!!
Cheers, Larry. Really looking forward to these two. (In The Red are a pretty big indie, so I suppose these will be easy enough to get in the UK).

These will definitely be available in the UK.

Am I doing something wrong here? I'm not seeing it. All i'm getting for the newest release is the Cheap Time album.

The Spits Kill The Kool is (finally) available now. Double LP and CD. It's been remastered with extra tracks added and comes in a gatefold sleeve.

We've been in the process of giving our website a long overdue facelift and getting new releases ready. Both took longer than expected. In addition to the upcoming releases on our "news" page we have new full lengths coming from the Meatbodies, The Intelligence, King Khan & BBQ, Endless Bummer, Traditional Fools and an awesome new LA band called Wand. We will also be reissuing the Lost Sounds' Future Touch EP and Simply Saucers' Cyborgs Revisited (with some bonus live tracks). More stuff to follow that we can't announce yet.

If you're interested in these kind of landmarks in the LA area this book by Art Fein is really great.
