gruel over trade collateral and estimated values

This.  I did my first trade with him this past year via him contacting me on discogs.  Kind of surprising it took this long considered how long we've both been in this game.  Anyway, found him completely grueling in terms of making a deal -- way too much back and forth of "maybe I want this one, or maybe I want that one", etc.  But in the end was happy with the trades and his grading is very conservative which explains all the VG records on discogs.

What is funding this trip, even if just gas and food since apparently he needs no lodgings?  Surely he's not selling much on discogs when his copy of the record is almost always the most expensive one listed.

Don't really pay attention except to wonder why anyone thinks the world needs three Death LPs, and a slipcase to stick them in.  Also don't like the revisionist thing of reissuing the 4th Movement 45 as a Death 45.

You've got to wonder how many copies they found.

Armand was in attendance and selling sealed copies of Ratfucker.

Curious what he was charging for this.  I pulled a $1 copy out of a thrift in the past year, complete with the photo inserts, but no guitar pick, which I've never seen.

Mike Rep & Quotas-Quit Talking & Start Chalking ep (Siltbreeze) #021

Insert? Or did you never even have those as Rep only put them in his copies?

Found the Dickens 45 today!  Fifty cents!  Tried to give homie a tenner, but he wasn't having it.  Brought him a growler (of beer) and a bong load later in the day.  He was STOKED.  Got a bunch of other goodies, but am mostly hung up on you know what.

Pretty amazing to find this in the wild.  According to the stories, the only copies that got out were with people associated with the release.

This is the subject of Mario's 2nd book, if it ever happens.

Would have loved Mongoloid to close out the night, but pretty damn good regardless.  Sound was excellent in the old man seated section in back -- it probably helped I was spitting distance from the sound guy.

Always fun to hear the views of people who've never seen or heard a band.

I went to the webpage and listened to every clip.  In every case I felt they were adding nothing to the songs and the originals were way better.  I'd define this as the worst kind of covers, sorry.  But I could imagine it being fun in a one-off live setting, given that one can't see the Monks play anymore (and I saw the first reunion show in NYC and was a top-10 live experience for me.)

Tot Rocket And The Twins - Eviction 7"
Wet Eviction. The sleeve has been all wet. I want to cry when I look at it!

Is there a real picture sleeve for this and not just a white sleeve with a bunch of text on it?
