What I'd like to know is how this faggot's bass doesn't have 7 strings on it. I had him pegged as that type of douche.
Update: Apparently there was a stabbing at the Note sometime last week, and for one reason or another, no turntables. So the DJs are out, but stabbing is in, everyone bring mom's cutlery, I'll have my grindstone, blade-tango starts sometime around midnight and rages onward and upward until the bands start playing at 1fuckinAM.
The Hunches are currently working on a new album though, sadly, it's most likely going to be their last. They plan to do a farewell show in Portland when it's released.
Is now a bad time to mention that the KRUNCHIES (featuring member of the BUSY SIGNALS) have a NEW not so limited edition 7" out on CERTIFIED PR RECORDS???

There's nothing inherently "magic" about a punk record from '77-82, but records from '83 will fetch less $$$, all other things being equal. It's a complicated system, with many factors. But ultimately, if it's a really good record that came out in a small pressing, it will eventually be worth money. If it's rare & overvalued during its time, the value will likely fall. The 90s garagepunk boom will one day be considered a fertile time period worth mining.
I'm not a record collector, so I don't really get any of this.
Yeah...but there are alot of other people out there who ONLY care about owning the record, and letting others KNOW they own it...
the slowest way possible? seriously? it can't cost that much more to first class 20 7"s. and that's something you kinda owe the band.
Fact is...with most of the other releases I'm doing up...there aren't gonna be more than 50, or 75 people that will want a copy. This one was an experiment...and it probably should have been done in higher numbers...but what doya do?
