Anyone remember the Anthrax?

It lasted 9 years without a dime of city money nor did they sell anything but Jolt
and fruit drinks. It survived only on percentage of door and and the sweat of two brothers.

That place was amazing...both locations

Probably a good idea. It's all just residual hate anyway. I don't actively avoid Caustic Christ, it's just anytime I've heard anyone talk about them the first thing that goes through my mind is "oh yeah, those are those humorless dumbfucks from Aus Rotten. PASS!"

Bill from the Pist is in that band...and he's far from humorless. But yeah Dave assrotten could be pretty strident. The guys in Submachine were certainly the opposite tho..total destructo-drinking townwreckers!

I used to drum in Mankind? so I know the whole assrotten scenario firsthand..

I HATE playing bars. Fact. The fact that I don't drink ever make bars
almost intolerable.

So do what I did...find a storefront in the shitty part of town..rent it for cheap(get your band to rehearse there and pay rehearsal rent to cover the overhead) and throw carpet up on the walls and window and door..set up a P.A. and call it an all ages venue....then give the door to the touring bands.

Its worked well so far

I'd go see them on the strength of that band name

Rules. Lots of great bands, lots of people in attendance, awesome food, super cheap everything, a buncha CHARACTERS.

Why do bands skip it and go to podunk towns in the middle of nowhere PA?
Lancaster? Swarthmore?
If you're playin Cleveland it's only 2 hours away.

I endorse Pittsburgh.

I endorse this message

Alot of people in bands, and the people who come see them, are self absorbed cattle.

Prod them with inflexible set times and show starts and they will get in line.
