Non-Music Shit / Re: Ebay; When To Give Negative Feedback?
« on: August 11, 2012, 12:07:11 PM »
the one negative I did leave was for a dude on Discogs who never sent the record. after about 7 weeks of not a single email being returned, the record was listed at 2X what I paid. after I left the feedback, he finally responded.... something along the lines of what's your problem. you got your money back. never mentioned that he failed to actually send the record.

Let me guess....stoopid records.

nah, it was a guy up in Montreal. he even claimed that record up at 2x the price was a different copy and threatened to leave me a negative feedback.

I avoid leaving negative feedback if I could. always give the seller a chance to make good. past year had wrong record sent and one graded excellent that sounded worse then the worst pulled out of a Goodwill.

I think it's safe to say the Mets suck.

in honor of their 50th anniversary, they are playing like it is 1962.

Yes! the next Hookup Klub R3 singles batch (Nones, Cindy Sisters, Homostupids) is at press and shipping around the end of the month, still got a few subscriptions slots open, but less than five, I think.

the next batch? there was a HKR3 batch already? Which ones are out so far... have not received any from this round.

All baseball fans: get on the R.A. Dickey train. Something to see. First NL back to back one-hitters (or less) in 68 years. Took two hours. And he scored the winning run.

dude is quite impressive. 42+ innings without an earned run.  unbelievable control, 71 to 6 strikeout to walk ratio.

but I think maybe the Bose speakers deliver a clarity that's better for pure electronic music than for rock 'n' roll.

this I agree with. I had a set of Bose which I ditch a while ago and went back to a set of 1980 vintage Criterions from Lafayette (if you remember that chain). Think they do sound better, even with the woofers replaced with junk from Radio Shack. Also using a (late 70/early 80's) Lafayette receiver and a Technics 1200. Audiophile? no but, it works for me.
