Posted track sounds great! This band continues to be great... BELIVE DA HYPE... Fuckin' Scotch Tapes duder took me for about $50 I sent him for a few copies of the Anti-climb record... any copies of this floating around? I still haven't heard it. Shit! Yeah.

Shitty mp3s is how I've heard Anti-climb. That pup needs a repress! The Scotch dude must have used the rest of the records as fish bait. Top Pheromoans material, sucks that people lost cash over it.

Buying this new one when it hits the States.

yo, I'd be happy for another label to re-press the Anti-Climb 12", I'm a bit tied up working on new releases. I know the band would be happy with that also.

yo,

you can now pre-order the Girl Sweat / Yugoslavian Boys split 12" LP. 180g black vinyl, fold over sleeve, w/ insert. Limited x 100.

Girl Sweat play drugged out noise swirling through the garage spectrum in a kind of Boxcar Satan post industrial blues way. Whilst the Yugoslavian Boys serve up a refreshing pummelling with a stripped down line up of bass, drums & synth. Their live shows are notoriously raucous and this recording goes some way to capturing that raw energy.

Ivan The Tolerable- "Spiky, punchy, noise-bursts, but I think I detect some pop (?) moves underneath it all. Very singular." (thanks Josh)

review just in from Vital Weekly #815. we have 25 copies left.

"Poems In Stone are a bit of lo-fi rock/noise band in the best tradition of those New Zealand bands like Sandoz LabTechnicians or music by Bruce Russell, especially in the long 'Psychoduct'. In the other pieces, one on the same side and several shorter on the other, this influence is perhaps a bit less apparent, since there is also some singing here and there, which I guess makes it all a bit more psychfolk, with sufficient weirdness all around. Improvised, distorted (at modest times), maniacally and insane. If some of those New Zealand bands would have incorporated more voices they would have ended up sounding like this. Modern day garage psychedelics. The more I hear this, the more captivating it gets, and hidden somewhere clever things pop up, like an occasionally multi-tracked vocal. Perhaps not as insane as I expected? which makes it all the more surprising. (FdW)"
