Also, I recommend any Japanese noisecore: Confuse, Gloom, ALL PUNX SPENDING LOUD WHATEVER whatnot from Japan you might hear.  And the old shit from the UK bands that influenced them: Disorder, Chaos UK, etc.

Gloom fuck yeah.  Way more harsh, fucked up and exciting than most straight up noise rock bands.  Have you heard that band Struggle For Pride?  Whenever I jam that shit I have to crank it all the way just to hear the music past the hiss, sounds fuckin awesome!

Bone Awl are a pretty great metal band because most of the time they sound like a punk band.  Midnight is probably my favorite current metal band, they've got a full three piece lineup these days and have killed it everytime I've seen em(two outta three times they lit stuff on fire, nice!)

I've never really cared for the hospitals much before but I fuckin love this one.  The way that all of the layers of sound play with each other and phase in and out is what really gets me.  I'm not lookin for catchy tunes when I put it on, I'm lookin to fuck up my head.
