Yeah lars you should cut it out with that bullshit line of thought.  You're missing the whole point.  It's one thing if you don't like the music, but dissing it because it's not black enough for you is pretty weak.  This isn't something that's been cooked up by a bunch of white guys in suits anyway, these kids have been doing everything themselves to this point, from the music and production to the art to the videos and everything else.  I think it's pretty cool to see a bunch of teenagers working DIY and getting some attention for it.

So the only hip-hop distro that I know of is undergroundhiphop.com and they come up empty when searching for this shit.  Who's carrying?  This is some of the best hip-hop I've heard in a good while, which had gone completley under my radar prior to this thread as I've been outta the loop for a while now.

Mammal, Let Me Die
Thought I hated this guy's stuff but in retrospect he's pretty good.  Most of the time he sounds like a doom guy who's just discovered Wolf Eyes.  Probably not the case, but that's what I think of when I hear him.  What's he so anguished about?  Dunno.  Maybe it's all that oxycodone draggin' him down.  I had a dream last night that I was dying of an unspecified disease and had only twenty-four hours to live.  Boy, was I pissed.  "I want to live, dammit!"  It turned out the doctor was fulla shit.  I started feeling better and went out dancing (?!) with some friends from work.  Left the dream feeling rejuvenated.  Sad, but rejuvenated.  Unlike this Mammal chap.

Have you heard any of his earlier more straight up noise stuff?  Some of it is pretty cool but I haven't listened to it in ages.  I saw him a while ago and it was almost dance music.  The noise was squeezing out of the cracks between the beats, really cool.
