granted he's made some shit records, but I can't think of any other artist/band that even comes close to matching his 70's output. if that makes me a knob gobbler then so be it!

i was at the same basement show that jstnhickey was at years ago. I remember sfn asking the crowd for weed. When I asked them if they scored any after the show they said something along the lines of "oh, we've already got weed, we just wanted more"

Of course it doesn't come close to his stuff from the 70's, but I agree that this is his best since Harvest Moon. And of course he might be treated like an icon by some considering he's made the best music ever created.

Someone was telling me about a skin drink show where they were just throwing unopened cans of beer at the crowd, i think it might've been their first show. According to Andrew, their shows were conceived as an excuse to do an obscene amount of drugs, but i'm not sure if he was just speaking for himself.

It's really good. Highlight of the record is definitely "Cruisin For A Bruisin", quite the groover. I'll have to grab a copy.

Yeah, DIYCD is the best starting point. Their LPs "Thoughtless" and "Sum of the Men" are also essential but probably harder to get ahold of.

Condominium totally killed in Pittsburgh last night. Definitely my favorite hardcore band around right now, and they're just as good with the three piece lineup now. Just got around to hearing Gag recently and it's a killer record, by far the best thing they've done. Would love to hear these guys do a long player.

Been jammin the Free Clinic demo, really nasty primitive noise rock from Pittsburgh. Would appeal to fans of stuff like Brainbombs, Twin Stumps and Butthole Surfers. They told me it's cool to post it online so here it is if anyone's interested
