I’ve been listening to Go Go Go Airheart almost exclusively for the last 3-4 days. I had the first album for ages and finally dove back into them. I’d say Vermillion’s voice can take some getting used to but damn if this groups discography doesn’t need revisiting! I kinda always thought of them being more in line with the dance punk craze of the early aughts, cept they’re so much more dubby krauty then I remember. They did a split with a Los Cyncos offshoot Syncopation whom seems two have extremely low print run albums on cassette and CD-R, anyone holding or heard? Yay or nay?

Just hearing this now, it feels like a continuation of what Eat Skull were up too. This is really good!

Did anybody on here read this, any good? Just discovered its existence after years of thinking the Registrators/Crime were responsible for bringing it into my wheelhouse...

Hey, lots of excellent suggestions so far.

I'll post a link when I sort through and make excerpts. I think 30-minute tracks might be expecting too much of the listener, although I think the France and Michael Chapman tracks really adhere to the concept.

I want to put together a mix of preferably long repetitious songs.

List so far:

Sheets of Easter - Oneida
Dawn of the Double - The Double (excerpt)
Aaron Dilloway - Eight Cut Scars (For Robert Turman)
Faust - It's a Rainy Day (Sunshine Girl)
Martin Rev - Nineteen 86
France - Les Pd de Kergariou (excerpt)
Skullflower - Celestial Highway I
Henry Flynt - Telsat Tune
Michael Chapman - Pachyderm (excerpt)
Flipper - Sex Bomb Baby (single version)
The Fall - And This Day & Repetition
Bobby Hutcherson & Harold Land - Prints Tie
PIL - Annalisa
This Heat - Repeat

Any help would be awesome!

Adding suggestions as I check em.

Yeah, everywhere I looked turned up nada too.
Hopefully, a second press will come about, it's too good!

Gen Pop side project that goes for that Black Tamborine, Shop Assistants(of which they cover), Primitives sound. More in the works, I dunno? I need more of this!

Gloopy pop, I listened to this a bunch too. Amateurish in all the right ways.

Fantastic post-punk dub. 3 tracks 20 minutes of spacey synths and clangy drums.

This is killer. Is it still available anywhere?

I think the physical is looong goooone(sadly)... My internet sleuthing has only turned up, sold outs globally, I'm bummed out I missed out on the record too... Also of note is Al Wootton's Witness Album, he's the non-percussion side of Holy Tongue.

Almost finished, Muzak to proto-industrial. Really enjoyed this collection, I will have to revisit it soon. I can see why this has made its way into the hip hop sample lexicon.

I've been enjoying the latest Bomb Sniffing Dogs and its very strong, dare I say matrimonial, MES connection

I see listed Elena Poulou, are there other Fallen involved with this?

Monopoly Child Star Searchers-Aqueducts Of Channel Island & Black Joker-Outer Planetary Oasis

Ever since its release in 2016, I've been listening to the Angel "2017" LP pretty consistently and I'm not really sure why I haven't looked further into the other musicians Stonehouse made it with until about 2 months ago, and this is how I came across Spencer Clark, who has quite an extensive discography and has releases under a bunch of different names. These two are from the late 2000s and are long droney tribalish grooves with some keyboards and some weird sounds that add to the rhythm and have been a nice soundtrack for me at work where I kind of have to pay attention to what I'm doing so i don't get severely injured, but mostly i kind of run on autopilot. Definitely been connecting some dots with some of the sounds on the Angel LP.

Tonstartssbandht-Sinkhole Storm and Sandwich

Came across this earlier this summer after reading a Gong Gong Gong interview or something Gong Gong Gong related which was singing the praises of Tonstartssbandht after they toured together and pointed out this album in particular. If you like stuff like that Dawn of the Double LP on In The Red or the hurdy-gurdy psych band France, you'll most likely be into this. 2 tracks, the first being bluesier and along the likes of The Double, and the second track is kind of an extension of the first but starts pretty mellow and trippy and has a pretty sick payoff. Tried listening to some of their other albums but couldn't really get into any of them, but this one is well worth checking out.

Dokutoramo-Memorial For The Burning Days

I fucking love this shit. Distorted weird drums with super lofi fuzz guitar on top of guitar loops and other strange samples that are just melodic enough to hold shit together.

I really enjoyed that Double record, I'm going to check out Tonstartssbandht.

I've been digging into the whole Night People label catalog and came across The Golden Hours, twee pop from parts unknown to me, from start to finish the tape moves along without a throwaway track. There's some fuzzy electric piano playing which reminds me of the piano on Cough/Cool. Solid one off from this group.

I've listened to Another Sunny Day - Anorak City on repeat, great song, it's such a shame that it is the only song of its kind on their London Weekend album. While the other tunes are fine none of them quite match the catchiness of Anorak City. Oh well...
