Great scores! We have a few of those pieces: the peacock art, the lions and the platterpak.

Sounds like you had a lot of fun!

Looking good, Genz! Glad to see you got the vintage puzzles we got you for your birthday framed! Looks like the place is coming together nicely. Now post some more pics!

Trey,

Did you bring any copies of these down to Atlanta with you last night or should I just place an order online?

Can't wait to see you and Judy this weekend!

Does your Columbia make a loud whirring sound? Mine has for years now. Not LOUD-loud but loud enough to hear over quiet-ish records. I was really happy with the Numark sound-wise but then it stopped working with batteries (still works when plugged in) so it went from being a decent portable turntable to a shitty non-portable.
no, my columbia is silent. i am pretty sure mine is only a few months older than yours, as i got mine after seeing yours, and from the same place.

My Columbia is silent, too. I've had it for about 6 or 7 years. Never had any problems.

I really like the columbia plastic ones that claim you can hang them from the wall...

I have the Cloumbia one and have been very happy with it. Usually only use it when I go to records shows, though. When I first bought it years ago, I tested the playing on the wall thing and it actually does work, but haven't really had the need to do that.

Back to portables:

Tony and I have been bidding on these for a while now. Hope to win one one day!
