last night started going through my singles closet and realized I have hundreds of modern singles Ive purchased over the last 10 years that have no value to me and are worth less than the pressing cost. Just taking up space and will most certainly not be listened to again. anyone else in the same boat.

seeing that I spend most of my free time at Estate Sales, Flea Markets, and Thrift Stores was wondering if someone out there had a sort of an IDIOTS GUIDE (tips) to RARE & COLLECTIBLE classical records (fo flippin)? Clasical records seem to be more abundant than the record collector rock in these venues and I know there are big money ones. CollectorScum?

so I know that there are quite a few MCM collectors on here. had a few questions. so over the years I've owned 4 knockoffs of the Herman Miller Eames Lounger. have sold all of them due to room arrangement and color changes and excess wear. 2 of them were Selig chairs the other 2 Ply. After many unsuccessful attempts at snatching a well used original, and not wanting to shell out for a NEW authorized model I am contemplating the purchase of a new REPLICA (knockoff). has anyone purchased one of these??? and if so whats the quality like. I cant imagine it to be any worst than a Plycraft but?

Music Shit / Reissue ?s

I have a few projects in mind and was looking for simple advice given that there are quite a few members who are accomplished in releasing reissues. My first question in regards to royalties, what is the generalized consensus (%) offered? keeping in mind that the pressing are private and no labels were involved with the original works. I'm assuming its a straight pay based on the quantity of the pressing? given most of these people(s) are not interested in the physical product. And without master tapes available suggestions in the vinyl sourcing dept?
