I got a copy of this selling for $15+ postage.
Legendary hardcore band OUT COLD split w/ the less legendary and lesser named BRATFACE.

Here's some info from the net, home of info:

Release information:
March 1995, Boston?s Finest / Devour Records (DVR6), 7″.  This was supposedly a split release between the two labels but I was later to find out that Devour essentially had nothing to do with other than issue a catalog number
. FYI:  Boston?s Finest was the label run by John Kozik (who eventually joined the band on guitar in 1998) and these two bands were chosen by him.  We didn?t know each other at all, though, and never even played a show together until 1999!  These songs were taken from a recording we did at WJUL on their ?Live From The Fallout Shelter? radio show.

Track listing:
Out Cold side:
Frozen Black
Jump Out Of My Skin
Nothing Left To Say

Bratface side:
Boy
Butcher?s Dog
Spit Or Swallow

This is the record release version of the Ooga Boogas first EP 'The Octopus is Back'.
It is packaged in a paper bag from "Good Burgers". I think there are ten copies in total. Record is unplayed.

Somehow ended up w/ 4 different variants of this 7", this is one of the remaining 2. For Australia completists!

First official release from Hatefuck, wherein lies an embryonic Pink Reason. The Hatefuck crew (HFK) existed in the early 2000's, their legacy left in a number of legendary live shows and a handful of demo recordings, from which these tracks were decalcified. 'Rock 'N' Roll Let Down' contains three cuts of amphetamine hardcore. A side ?When Time Takes Over? is a long rock-based tune that necessitated the 33RPM run time speed. The flip offers three faster cuts, from the high octane punk of ?HWY 10? to the Stoogoid rumble of ?Little Girls Make the World Go Round?.

A fourth Hatefuck track ?Well Dressed Man?, is also available on the 'Wings Over Gabba: The Best in Songs of Negativity' comp LP. Out shortly.

HATEFUCK 'Rock and Roll Let Down' 7?EP

Music Shit / MECHANICAL LICENSING (I am stoopid)
« on: May 13, 2011, 08:14:32 PM »
I'm sure there has been many a thread concerning this issue BUT: Anyone here ever had to fuck around trying to get the publisher's right to include a cover track on a 7"?

There's an Alex Chilton cover on a Blank Realm single (200 press) I got at the plant, and I guess they figured out it was a cover and want me to fill out a mechanical licensing form, but this thing looks intense and daunting. Potentially expensive, maybe. Any advice? Would it be easier if I just seeked out Chilton's publisher (???) themself/ves/entity and sorted it w/ them?

Any vinyl issue/reissue of this readily available?

Slug Guts 'Livin Evil' LP's (limited to 100 copies) arrived last week, sleeves should be finished w/in a few days and then made available for purchase directly from me, w/ Easter Bilby gettin' their sleeves shortly thereafter. This is a live record featuring mostly new tracks from their unreleased 3rd LP, and a grubby free jazz-stinkin' cover of Lubricated Goat's 'In the Raw'. The band's hardest slab yet, by the throw of a dead crow.

Hatefuck 7" SHOULD have been ready at the same time but I rejected the first test press. As a result I have a few extra copies of the new, final test press available for purchase. These come w/ an alt cover and there are only 3 left, so 'PM' or email me at dirtyalley@msn . com if yr interested in a copy. For those of you not "in-the-know", HFK is pre-Pink Reason, grindin' 'n vaguely psychedelic/Stoogoid hardcore, decalcified from the early 00's. The standard edition will be available in a month's time and can be purchased from me, Easter Bilby distro or Kevin.

Also ready this week will be issue 25 of the magazine featuring John Olson (Wolf Eyes, Stare Case), Charles from My Mind's Eye records, Pictish Blood and Browning Mummery (80's Aus industrial/"punk" oddities much worth gawking at), Sam McPheeters, the return of Monty Buckles, a look at Tonya Loiterman's 'Why Be Something That You're Not' including i/v) and the usual gaggle of you know what (and who's!).

Will update when issue #25 and the Slug Guts albums are ready to post. We also have 6 (!!) new records at two different plants, which will materialize over the coming months. A teaser, you ask? How about this one from the upcoming Allan Ginsberg movie, starring James Franco: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RvRxkH8NDUs&feature=relmfu
