Music Shit / Bernie and the Invisibles
« on: December 23, 2010, 06:43:40 AM »
Somebody should release that fucking LP.

Quote from: Paul Marotta @ ClePunk.com
Bernie recorded material for a full length Lp at Styrenes Studio with Titsch and Peter. Bernie had been unhappy because Johnny Dromette had promised to release something but it wasn't happening. Maybe the recordings in question are those Hudson wrote about as having been produced by Tony Maimone

In any event, they recorded just about all their songs in two days of sessions, without any need for "a producer" and the tapes sound great. If anyone from the band wants to see the stuff released, I'd be more than happy to oblige.

Mr. Mauceri, I'm looking in your direction!

just watched 'dead celebrities'. it's amazing how good this show is. the ghost hunters killed me.

"whoe! whoe-whoe-whoe! WHAT is THIS? WHAT is THIS?!? there's a a-a wetness coming from my pants!"

"DEFINITELY some paranormal activity!" - "it's warm... and moist. a warm, moist sensation that's moving down my left thigh."

Music Shit / upcoming Yonkers stuff (?)
« on: August 28, 2009, 03:13:34 AM »
about a year ago (maybe longer) there was this incredible video of an unreleased song by michael yonkers up on youtube called nevermore. it was prolly the best thing i ever heard of him and sounded like totally hittin' bullseye between mm love and grimwood. the video was some really beautiful footage of him recording in his self-built home studio somewhere around 70-71 (when the song was recorded). i wrote him via myspace that the shit totally blew my mind and the world needs it released. didn't expect an answer just wanted to tell him my appreciation but he actually wrote back. twas a supernice msg where he told me that de stijl has another kinda-album/comp in the pipes and that the song will be on that one. he also told me that he spent fuckin' 30years(!!!) rescuing that vid because it was recorded on some obscure material and he needed to get one of the very raer machines that could play it.

well, unfortunately the video got taken down and to this day i haven't heard of any official plans concerning a release. i asked him maybe two times about this (again via myspace) but no answer...

info? gimme! seen it too? rules, right?
