Non-Music Shit / Burger King's hot dogs

Yeah or nay? Their burgers make me feel like dying but I've read some good things about the hot dog.

yeah, all are swooped up... next batch we will do easier 5 single lots... lotta fun boppers now in the hands of SF hillbillies.

Cool. I'm excited to see these at the next swap for x5 the price.

PS: Ray Romano aka the guy from everybody loves Raymond was ok!

Ray Ramano was actually one of my favorite actors/characters on the show. He did a great job. Everything else kinda felt like it was trying too hard.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/ORIGINAL-JOHNNY-THUNDERS-1984-CONCERT-VINTAGE-T-SHIRT-TOUR-THE-NEW-YORK-DOLLS-/351516878031?

$3,499.30

LOL Now It's $4,999.99, move too slow and it'll be 10k soon!

It sold, Best Offer Accepted.

"So, I now you're asking $5k for this, but would you take $7k? I wanna beat the next price hike."

That's how that works, right?

Not really a TV show but I watched the first episode of the new Louis CK thing, "Horace and Pete". I want to say something about it but I feel like reading about it beforehand can really spoil the experience. Pretty amazing if you ask me. Dry, dark, and intense.

Agree on all points here. Really good. Not at all what I was expecting (not funny), but great.

Spent 1/10th that for overstock or whatever of the dbl a couple years ago. Can't imagine the extra LP is worth $90 to me. Nor any LP.

BUT YOU GET A TOTE BAG!

These bands and records are also worth checking out if you're just getting into this kind of stuff.
Wreckless Eric - Donovan Of Trash
Del-Monas
Ye Ascoyne D'Ascoynes
Masonics
Armitage Shanks

Definitely would add the A-Lines, that album (mostly written by Billy) holds up great. Masonics for sure, I've always been sort of baffled that people (here in the US at least) weren't more up on them. There were some fairly high profile releases, too, like this Slovenly 45 from almost 10 (!!!) years ago, nearly every release is excellent and definitely of the Childish "universe": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nbSUDMpWrQI

Thirding the Masonic's recommendation, particularly if you're a fan of the Milkshakes since it's Micky's band.

Yeah...listening to it, sure, they may have been influenced by Coloured Balls but sound nothing like that. Far too punk/hardcorish. American Soul Spiders is more on point for a comparison.

Definitely listen to clips first Todd.

They're both arseholes and probably haven't cared about music in years.

Beat me to it.

I could never stand Marcus' writing (see Simon's critique above), even if the subject/idea of his books mildly piqued my interest. I don't think I've made through 40 pages of any of them. But that's farther than I've gotten in anything Christgau's written. Then again, I'm just an idiot who thing Bangs pretty much got the whole rock writing thing done perfectly.

Awesome. Really excited about this issue!

I just want to chime in on this to say it's totally worth the money. It's cool how he's included later releases (like bootlegs and reissues) by bands covered within the timeframe of the book.
