a robert hood - minimal nation mispress with unreleased jeff mills tracks on the first 12" which i bought for 8 euro a couple years ago. i didn't know that i bought a mispressing (looks identical), it was such a nice surprise when i found out.

Marrakech is almost exclusively CDRs but I was lucky to loot some 7"s. Most of them are from a little shop in the souks. There were more but I was out of money and the owner, who didn't speak a word of English or French, wanted to close the shop (for prayer I guess). Raw berber music mostly, love that stuff.





also scored some tapes and CDs.

I'm in Marrakech right now, bought these at the souks today (+ some more CDs at a supermarket, nass el ghiwane, jil jilala, lemchaheb etc.)

I dunno what this stuff is but it looks cool. What are the souk prices for records?

as for the 7" records, I don't know what they are either but I was happy to find any records at all. wanted 30 dirham (around 3 euros) per piece which is of course just the basis for haggling.
