I got punched in the face last summer on my corner. The kid didn't seem to want anything of mine, he just really wanted to punch me in the face. I'm still not sure why I didn't attempt to avoid him at all.

A guy got shot there last month though, so I guess I got off easy.

Agreed, the Olaussen was the main reason I joined this year. He's the best.

If its not a photo realistic tattoo of Greg Lowery in a lab coat, its nothing.

Still stands.
Otherwise, I think he's a total prick. Unscrupulous. All that.

Oh christ.

Harry is doing a great job on these, and its costing him everything he's got. Much like Sing Sing, these Last Laugh releases are as good as you could ever hope to own, in some cases better quality than the original release, and are totally 100% legit with the artists getting more money than the label. Dude LIVES in a room full of records and assembles/packs/ships all day long everyday when he's not out shopping for more records.

Seriously. Like I said above. I got Fresh Apricots for the cheapest I've ever bought them, and they were AMAZING. Strawberries and Raspberries too!! So good!

My buddy is the chef over at Dokebi on Grand and he does some killer Korean Tacos that are definitely worth checkin' out here in Williamsburg Keegan.

Will be visiting. Thanks!!!

So, I ate too much food this week. The Crab Shack out on PCH was a highlight for sure, or the roadside fruit seller in Topanga Canyon (the best raspberries I've ever had, and amazing apricots for so cheap!!). Went to a great Mexican Seafood place in downtown, near the Mariachi Square. Twas pricey, but good.

The Roach Coach taco truck at work was honestly really fucking good. Really wish that I could track down a Korean Taco.

Only made it to a couple record stores. Amoeba is overwhelming and underwhelming at once.

I'll be back again in a couple weeks, I think.

The Mirrors set at the Blackout - now that was like seeing the 13th Floor Elevators. Gris Gris live never came close any time I saw them. I'll agree that the records are nowhere near as interesting as they were live though, and I never thought they were that great to begin with. That first(?) Greg Ashley solo LP ('Medicine Fuck Dream') is so terrible it actually makes me mad.

I actually love the Medicine Fuck Dream record. As well as all the others. I've only seen Greg Solo live.

LASTNAME: Can I read the Spacemen 3 Book after you???? Pretty Please??!?!?! I've been trying to find the fucking thing for years. Hope it doesn't suck too bad.
