Non-Music Shit / Re: It's Always Sunny

seasons four & five have been a little warmer than the show started, Michael has become much more sympathetic, but I don't think that's a bad thing. I have to say I liked both season openers for these shows.

"Oh, I'm so glad you're eating again."
"Me too!"

I don't mind the heckling so much, at least the silent heckling like the papers raised (although I have no idea what they meant by it), but I just want to know what the backlash would have been if a democrat had done that while Bush was talking. I imagine conservatives would have been shitting their brains out.

I sort of hated this episode. It felt really forced. I did enjoy Anthony going to Chicago, almost exclusively for his feature on Hot Doug's.

I feel like a lot of his US episodes are forced. His passion really is in more foreign food (esp. Asian food), and foreign countries. But he puts up a good facade, gives credit to the country that made his shit all possible. Like the guy whose music he claimed to like? There's no way a dude who worships the Ramones & NY Dolls (and Blues Explosion I guess) would think that fucker's shit pop rock was good. It's a diplomatic gesture to the mainstream.

And oh my god I need to go back to Chicago just to go to Hot Doug's. that looked so, so, so amazing.

Also his Chile episode made me want to go to Chile. Most of his episodes make me want to go places -- I even felt a desire to go to Buffalo last night.

His favorite album is "Funhouse."

STEVE likes the Grateful Dead.

Who's the fucking square?

fucking a sir, fucking a.

my mom likes the grateful dead. steve, are you my mom?
