Out on CD last year, now finally released on gatefold double vinyl as well as a second CD run now in print. Dark, high energy garage/rnb/exotica/crime jazz/surf kinda zounds....

Managed to track down the full version of this on DVD, email or PM me if anyone wants a copy. It's a VHS rip I think, picture's okay but there's a bit of buzz on the soundtrack.

Had to compare this to the Sundazed version of Psychedelic Sounds, based on a quick comparison of You're Gonna Miss Me and Reverberation it sounds way better!

Ordered... wonder if the CD version will fetch enough on ebay to go some way to funding this....

you didn't get the point...
this is just a fantastic marketing action...
I'm pretty sure they screwed intentionally the first batch of 1000 copies. As a result, the box is getting an exposure on the web far bigger than if things had been just turned out as expected. Now, all fetichists that were still wondering if they'd go or not for the box - given that they already dropped some painfull $$$ for the CD box some months ago - are ordering as fast as possible in the hope to get a screwed "collectable" box.

from what I remember, the box was available on pre-order on the web around april.
I ordered mine in early july, I got a copy numbered 312. I'm pretty sure that they were still below 1000 copies sold when the first boxes were shipped out and when all that story showed up. But I guess that they are now selling much more faster.

I have no idea how that relates to what I posted...

Mentioned this to a friend and he related a story about a so-called HA chapter in Norfolk, the real guys apparently got wind of it, came up from London and called them out to the woods where there was a big shootout. Not sure when this was though, need to ask again next time I see him.... could have been 80s or something.

Any idea on where to get the full length version of this, torrents etc.? I'm assuming it's a 45 min or hour long thing from the fact it's cut of at the end of each section in those clips...

Music Shit / Re: 2 guitars no bass
« on: July 18, 2011, 09:57:11 AM »
so we will have 1 bass, 1 guitar, and 1 wheelchair guitar.
ok this didn't go so well, she  fell out of the wheelchair very early in the set and i believe has compounded the fractures, we also had all our instruments and microphones taken off us by the sound man for some reason except the bass so i had to do the whole band on bass, but then noone else was on stage any more so i got sick of doing that, then as soon as i came off there were like 2 guys wanting to beat me up because of something that happened that i still can't work out, i think i smoothed that over, on the whole it was pretty much the worst set any band has ever probably played but it was on so late that i think a lot of people still enjoyed it on some level.
Haha, where was this?

In my old band we had the two guitars pretty much set to all mid and treble. We thought it sounded great. People loved us live but never bought our records. In fact if you are Dan from Atomic Suplex/Thee Spivs as I think you might be you played with us in Norwich a few years ago, we were called Beast with a Gun.

The band split up just before we were about to press this to vinyl, so unfortunately it never got released. We'd never let anyone pay us for a download, but folks need to hear it so here are mp3s of the whole album.

Steamroller mariachi garage punk is one way you could describe it...
