It's been a shitshow already. We'll see on Henderson, I gave up my wire position (and Sam LeCure) for the chance he regains form. Missed out on three new closers over the two days prior. Unfortunately I dug this grave with my draft, the one position I truly punted. Kicking myself...at least Axford has looked good so far!

Very content with my team. Kipnis/Cutch should drive my avg/sb with enough power, supplemented by Bruce, JDizzle and Rosario. Pujols/Bogaerts/Heyward are the true wildcards. Worried about consistent SS production mostly.

SP may be my downfall once again, Verlander the true wildcard here. And Cain. And Bailey. And the Shark. Cingrani and Gray, too. Guess my entire staff is a big question. Gonna miss having a guy like Kimbrel around to anchor saves, just means steady attention to the closerapocalypse.

Pacific Ocean Blue is great. You and I should've been a hit.

Awesome news, Brock. 2 for 2 on the reissue front, looks like that streak will continue.

At least one or two of those young arms will go down for Tommy John surgery in June, having been unhittable up to two weeks before. Then they have two bad starts in a row, then they leave a start in the 3rd inning with tightness, then it's see you in spring 2016.

One down and it's not even April, though I wasn't all that high on Corbin's fantasy potential. Still, a tough blow for the DBags.

Helping out on occasion with the Superior Viaduct label so I thought I'd get the release info up whenever possible. Here is what's newly available for preorder:

Alice Coltrane - A Monastic Trio
http://www.superiorviaduct.com/collections/upcoming/products/alice-coltrane-a-monastic-trio-lp

"A Monastic Trio, created in the year following her husband's passing, is COLTRANE's first recording as a band leader and features six original compositions. While John's spirit can be felt throughout ? from the song titles ("Ohnedaruth" was his adopted Hindu name) to the personnel (Jimmy Garrison, Rashied Ali, and Pharaoh Sanders were frequent collaborators) ? the album showcases ALICE's immense talent for fusing spiritual free-jazz and new-age with classical, Eastern, post-bop and gospel."

Leslie Winer - Witch
http://www.superiorviaduct.com/collections/upcoming/products/leslie-winer-witch-lp

"Produced in the twilight of the '80s in London and originally released on white-label LP with homemade rubber stamp impression, Witch is the mysterious and powerful debut from poet, artist, and musician LESLIE WINER. It's an infectious patchwork of dub beats, tasteful samples and WINER's sultry blend of spoken word with cool, folksy lullabies that later became popularized by acts such as MASSIVE ATTACK and TRICKY. Even though Witch predates those artists' breakthroughs by a year or more, WINER quickly rejected NME's christening her as the "grandmother of trip-hop.""

Both will be in stores April 29.

OUT NOW:

Glenn Branca - Lesson No. 1 2x12"

Eduard Artemiev - The Mirror/Stalker OST

Lots of exciting stuff in the works.

IN. Down with this draft plan. Give me the #1 pick or something late. OR will this be the year Trout is merely just great. Who's drafting Braun?

The only W replacement that isn't basically covered by what we have is the QS. Not sure if it is worth the effort to change but that'd be my pick for an alternate.

I'm down with that, maybe replace it with QS? It's a bullshit stat too, but is less dependent on the pitcher's offense than W.

I'd be into switching out OB for BA on the offensive side.

Those looks great. Excited for the Bent Wind but may spring for both. Too late for the termbo deal?

Again professor, not totally discounting, just find it hard to believe, because if is truly one take it will go down as one of the very best single takes ever. Didn't read the article until just now, I guess I buy it, but should we really completely believe anything this guy says:

I find it hard to believe it was all one take; re-watched and there seems to be an edit as Rust and Ginger were exiting the second house. Who cares though, pretty fantastic scene either way, we can let the camera/production nerds argue further.

Build-up to the scene was great too. Biker bar, Rusts' endless toots and snorts, takin a dive into the Heart of Darkness.

Sounds great, nice package. Didn't expect this one to be the next in line, but it makes sense now.

I forget, is it the Shep/Nudge/Sam Brown lineup here?
