ok.....

this morning I got off the train at union square to go to work. usually there are 10,000 people getting off the train and bumrushing this big stairway to get out of the station. Today there's no-one going up the stairs. so I get all excited and hustle up the steps, all the while i'm hearing amazing grace being played on bagpipes somewhere in the station. I thought it was just a street musician cashing in on peoples emotions cause of sept. 11th.
  Anyways, I get to the top of the stairs and walk right in the middle of a huge police memorial service with all of the cops crying and candles and shit. I was totally not supposed to be there. a cop almost pushed me down the stairs. Amazing grace was totally being played the whole time.

I found this guys one day on MySpace, checked them out, and ended up liking it a lot.  Then I saw them at Union Pool and they blew me away; they were easily the best NY band I've seen since moving here 6 months ago.  If you like 1950's country, check it out!
