I'm not really so into shitty Casio sounds, either...
I agree that this thread is stupid, but at least it has gotten us one step closer to outing those who deign to use Garageband instead of Protools or other such industry-approved programs!
In regards to qmass' statement:
I think the aversion to garageband is more related to small-mindedness due to a perceived threat (i.e. more people being able to record music and distribute it more easily, thus potentially raising the bar and thus your (not yours specifically) chances of being liked) and the desire to create an "other" in a pitiful attempt to create some sort of superficial unity against "them"...that is to say, those that are in some way "different". Just sayin'
