A bas la France! Vive le Corse libre!
La Corse, not Le Cose.
Depends what the arrest was for. Drugs or DUI is bad news at the border.
Saw this twice.
Enjoyed it both. Even more the 2nd time.
If you're complaining about the movie you're pretty much an idiot who wants to feel important by letting everyone know that "you read the book first" and you wanna quote others by saying it's "unfilmable"
Whatever, completely enjoyable movie.
Take it for what it is. What they tried to do. And how high the mark was set by biased fan boy idiots.
Oh no, they changed the ending! who cares. The book is pretty dated as is. And I think the new ending worked pretty great.
Besides, if they woulda kept the original ending, ya'll morons would've complained about it anyways, And it would've been too weird for new-comers.
Point is, this could've been a million times worse. And if anything it's drawing new people to the original material.
So shut up dorks.
I'll probably get shit for this but I actually thought the ending using Dr. Manhattan as the villain instead of the squid thing worked alot better, not to mention neatly tied it together with the whole tachyons stuff. The excessive violence I think worked better too: people expect some violence in an action flick and are desensitized to it. Making it extra brutal gets the point across better of the brutal "reality" of superheroes, that I think Moore was making in the book.
