Jamesfella, were you aware that your boy has the Wounded Lion record up on his website as: AVAILABLE NOW?

http://www.downintheground.com/

From what you're saying, this thing might not be out until summer.  Doesn't it bother you that a record you've put money up for is being advertised as AVAILABLE NOW, and you know that's nowhere near the truth?  It's pretty fucking simple to me, it's either available or it's not.

Your name is now messed up in this shit, and you need to straighten this dude out. At least tell him to change the website.

I have kind of a related question for Mike.  If you run your own label(s), why do you put records out on other labels?  Just saves you the trouble, time, investment? Just wondering.

I'm in on this, and I want in on this! That is, I've received no tapes so far.

I'm planning my tape (sure to make your August the best one yet!) in my head, and I think most of you might not like it. It's totally artfag. Things could change between now and then, though.

Spent a lot of time reading that blog last night. Definitely a whole bunch of excellent stuff contained within!

Do your eyes hurt? That white on blue is not working for me. I added it to my Bloglines, though, so I can read it in good ol' black on white.

I just remembered another hurdle with Game Theory. Their cover art and production is so totally 80s, it's kind of a turn off at first.  Daniel mentioned the production, but those covers.......hideous.

"Strange Times" is the only Chameleons (UK) album I have, but I like it a lot. It's up there with any other album I've heard from that mid-80's British, Echo & the Bunnymen type of band. For some reason, I feel compelled to listen to the second song, "Caution," all the time. Good tune!

This Game Theory discussion has me wanting to check them out again. I got "Big Shot Chronicles" a while back and thought it was all right. I kind of figured it was a grower, especially since the lyrics are so important to their whole thing, but my girlfriend hates Scott Miller's voice, so I don't play it often. I know the Forced Exposure guys loved that band, that was why I was interested in them in the first place.

Yo, Sarim! You can order the solo here:  http://bonhomie.free.fr/order.html

15 Euros is a little less than 20 bucks American, and the shipping was reasonable. I ordered a copy last week and got it today. And it's fucking GOOD.

There's only 300, so $25 is cheaper than if you try to get it on eBay in a year.
