last night i wanted to have a few 7&7s but realized i ran out of 7up the night before so i was scouring the kitchen for a mixer and decided on a few capri suns we had left over from a picnic. which ultimately was an awesome choice, i mixed half a glass of seagrams in a highball and the rest capri cun and ice and the capri sun totally killed the taste of seagrams at all. i know seagrams is usually a smoother whiskey than i'm used to so i don't know if it will work for the cheapo stuff i usually drink. any other weird mixers worth mentioning?

this question might go here, i was in the record shop the other day and caught metallic K.O. on 220 gram vinyl, has anyone else seen this format? is there any reason for such a ridiculous sized record? there was also a 60's punk reissue on 220 gram at the same store, i can't think of who it was but i wanna say the beau brummels. whats the deal?

yeah i figured for only 250 outta the catalog isn't too bad for a new guitar. i play one of those shitty peavy predators, it was given as a gift and i've been playing it for over a year. i just figured it was time to buy my own guitar but i'm so fucking broke. it's hard to find a good guitar for about 200-300 bucks.

i surprisingly bought squeak speak creak at the mall when i was a kid. i loved that band for a love time, i saw them down in florida and the PA wasn't turned up enough or something, i couldn't here the vox at all. it was still a really good show though it just ended up being a big dance party. i'm glad to see they have some more structure in their songs, thats what i always thought they needed
