Hey Termbo,
Long time no see! Have some new records on Mammoth Cave Recording Co. Check it out!!

We put out a shitload of great Canadian garage punk in the last bit:  http://mammothcaverecording.com/store/music

Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet - Savvy Showstoppers Reissue (Delux Gatefold / 180g)
Mammoth Cave Recording Company is proud to release the first in a series of reissues of the Shadowy Men On A Shadowy Planet catalogue.
Remastered from the original tapes and presented on deluxe 180-gram vinyl with a gatefold sleeve, featuring new artwork by Shadowy Men's Don Pyle himself.
Featuring such classics as the Having An Average Weekend (The Kids In the Hall Theme), Zombie Compromise and Shadowy Countdown. 18 classic hits, don't miss out!

Strange Attractor - Back to the Cruel World LP (NOV 15 - Mammoth Cave / FDH / Ressurection)
Third LP from Sudbury, Ontario's Strange Attractor, first domestic release. Fantastic snotty garage punk Angry Samoans style. Their best record yet!!

Ketamines - You Can't Serve Two Masters LP (Mammoth Cave Recording Co. / Southpaw Records)
Ketamines sophomore stunner - pop, fizz, psych, garage, punk and bubblegum left out in the sun and scraped into an orange stew. Hit #1 on Canadian college charts July 2013.

Nervous Talk - Introductions 7" EP 300 Press (almost gone already!)
Vancouver punk supergroup featuring our favourite new songs from Joel Butler (Moby Dicks / Myelin Sheaths) and members of Timecopz, Shitty Neighbours and The Ballantynes. AKA your new favourite band.

Ugly Pop sez: "My favourite new Canadian single in awhile, this debut features three tracks of top-notch punk rock in the vein of the Marked Men, early Rip Off Records or the tougher '70s melodic bands-- can definitely see this appealing to people who dig The Boys, early Undertones or Protex. Mammoth Cave really hits it out of the park with this debut, and the first press is a measly 300 copies!"

Feel Alright - Oahu Ohio 7" EP 300 Press (Almost gone!)
Tuneful but energetic indie/punk here, very much in debt to C86, Slumberland bands or a cruder, punker Smiths. There's a raw, driving feel here that keeps one foot firmly in the punk rock. Really great single.

Gold - Losing Your Hair 7" EP
The last thing Chris Reimer (WOMEN) recorded before he passed away unexpectedly last year. Meloncholy abounds on this C86 worshiping record.

WE also have the Ketamines single series #1 and #3, and a bunch of recent Ugly Pop stuff!

Only a few of the Mammoth Cave Green edition of the Ketamines LP left, even less copies of Bloodstains Across the Prairies which has been, inexplicably, our fastest 7" run yet.

http://mammothcaverecording.com/releases/spaced-out-lp-preorder-blue-vinyl-100-copies

500 Copies (100 Green - Mammoth Cave // 100 Blue - Southpaw Records // 300 Black) - IF YOU ARE ORDERING FROM THE USA, PLEASE ORDER FROM SOUTHPAW!

Being reincarnated as the evil union between seminal Lethbridge, Alberta garage bands Endangered Ape and Myelin Sheaths is not a bad thing. If anything, Paul Lawton and James Leroy?s newest and most accessible collaboration to date is a welcome break from the usual too-serious landscape of the current garage-punk scene. Instead of struggling to the top of the heap via cheap imitation, Lawton and Leroy have put a unique spin on psych, pop and surf-music and claimed it for their own.

Getting early support from Chicago label HoZac records with their smash single ?Line by Line?, the Ketamines are now anticipating the March 2012 release of their full length LP ?Spaced Out? which will be co-released on Alberta label Mammoth Cave Recording Co. and Oakland, California?s white-hot Southpaw Records. Currently delighting audiences with drunken antics and spaced out jams across North America as a three-piece (with Myelin Sheaths Martine M?nard on Bass and Fist City?s Ryan Grieve on drums), the Ketamines are heading in to the final year on the Mayan calendar with confidence that is just beginning.

Red Mass
A) Television Personalities
B) Kill it From the Inside
300 Copies / Black Vinyl / Large Hole
Artwork by Bob Scott (http://www.bobscottartwork.ca/)
Comes With Download Code

Red Mass are literally a force to be reconed with. With over a dozen releases over the last four years, each somehow - impossibly - better than the last, we couldn't be happier to release the latest missive from Choyce and Co. These two songs have been around for a while - "Television Personalities" is a driving, synthy new-wave rave up that goes in and out of complete psychosis, while "Kill it From the Inside" is a lot more damaged and unerving.
This 7" is exactly what Red Mass does best - challenging the outer limits as to what counts for rock and roll.

MCR025 - Bloodstains Across The Prairies

Saskatchewan/Manitoba!
300 Copies / Black Vinyl / Large Hole
Comes with download code

When we set out to compile the Bloodstains Across The Prairies 7", we had no idea what (if anything) we would find. This one took a little more digging than the first three compilations in this series, but in the end we are more than happy with how weird this thing came out. We wanted one side from Saskatchewan and one side from Manitoba, and found our favourites in the cities of Saskatoon and Winnipeg, and we fell in love with both. A welcome surprise!

MCR 026 Grown-Ups
A1 - Spare Time
A2 - It Get's Worse
B1 - Full Hearts
B2 - The Things That I Could Live Without

300 Copies / Black Vinyl / Large Hole
Calgary, Alberta's Grown-Ups have kind of, sort of, grown up a little. The Spare Time 7" EP, recorded in late 2011 in the Mammoth Cave Recording Studio further develops the  more nuanced punk direction that the band was developing on their highly underrated LP "Stopped Caring." This 7" contains four songs of melodic pop-punk that are both immediate and of the can't-get-out-of-your-head variety.  Highly recommended!

"Where the fuck have I been? Not Canada, obviously. Because if I were, I?m pretty sure the Famines would be my favorite band. On the soon-to-be-released (pre-order available now, with a November 11 release date) The Complete Collected Singles LP, the Famines grab you from the beginning with ?Hi Hi Hi? and never really let loose throughout their eleven song assault." Get Bent (November 4, 2011)

"If The Who had come of age in the 21st century, this is what ?My Generation? might have sounded like. The mighty, very British-sounding racket that ensues here is all the more impressive when you realize it?s being made by two guys from Edmonton." - John Sakimoto, Toronto Star (November 3, 2011)

"With the raw energies and blasted out recordings of this noise rock twosome, the Famines will melt your face, leaving you feening for more..." Mondo Nation (November 2, 2011)
