So is the Country Hearth under different management from the Artisan?
Because our room last year was pretty bad compared to the year before (air conditioning problems, no mini-fridge, clogged shower, etc.).

Never would've thought to pick it up but it was sitting next to the bed in a friend's guestroom when I stayed over this summer. Probably needless to point out that its not a celebration of her music, but an extended musing on mass culture using her success as a starting point.
This is the only one I've read could say I really liked. None of Carl Wilson's thoughts on taste really blew my mind and it should really be common sense for most of us here but anyway, I respect the 33 1/3 guys for putting this one out.

How much do people judge Turbonegro by their post-reunion mediocrity and the annoying fanbase that followed them? I can't let that dissuade me from enjoying their best moments up to Apocalypse Dudes.
Can't really see why they're being compared to Davila 666 unless someone thinks all accents un-American (although Puerto Rico is our territory) sound exotic, there's a few rousing gang choruses by Turbonegro, and that story about Davila 666 that was passing around at Gonerfest might have someone thinking Ass Cobra. I dunno...that's really grasping.
Care to reiterate that story?

My favorite moment of the entire fest would have to be King Louie doing "Chinese Crawfish" with me, whom I'm pretty sure was the sole Chinese guy in the entire store at the time, right in front. He then stopped mid-song to apologize to me. I mean, I wasn't even that much offended and I wonder if he even realized I was there before then. Either way, it was fucking hilarious.
