In other news:
Again, this year, Rocket Science Audio, Live From Memphis and, of course, Goner Records will present live streams from Gonerfest V.
Last year, we were able to stream up to 18 audio-only users, and from the response we got, it sounded just dandy.
This year, we are trying something new, yet again. We will try streaming audio and video, and we believe we have enough bandwidth for up to and around 50 users (possibly more, we're not sure).
Of course it's not as good as being here; you can't smell the sweat, taste the beer or participate in general shenanigans. But just a little something new and different for those who couldn't make it. Also, streaming will be available from the Hi-Tone only. With the current logistics, we'll have to try getting all locations next year, or something.
That being said...
When we have it available, we will post the url. It should work for both Windows Media Player and on a MAC this time as well.
We'll also be recording simultaneously, so we'll try to provide the usual mp3s.
Some other things we'll try working on:
More Satan speaks to the Internet
Between set interviews of artists or just random people waiting in line for the bathroom.
Other possible audio/video content between sets.
