« on: July 10, 2008, 04:48:42 PM »I caught Dave at Revolver today as they were coming in....I have a bunch of those copies of Love Visions LPs on the way, Jay Reatard 2XLP, Strange Boys, + a couple (like 3) Pink Reason "Winona" (Woodsist) 7"s coming via "on-time" UPS shipping.Ordered Love Visions. Yes!
Because of that, they are up at www.tictactotally.com now for those desperate souls without one.
BUT I would recommend if you CAN wait, get it from the distros like Floridas Dying, Boom Chick, Goner etc....the ones who did order them long long ago. I'm not trying to get in their way or anything, I'm just saying I'll have em in like 2 days for ya too.

« on: May 24, 2008, 12:56:48 AM »Cover? Opening bands? Is the venue actually open?Secret Fires and Night Rocket are the openers. I can't vouch for the quality of either of them. I've heard a few Secret Fires tracks (they're from Edmonton) - they seem alright at best.
I've seen CPC Gangbangs a bunch of times, so I'm debating if it's worth the 2.5 hour drive to see Deaner in his hometown.
Cover should be around $5, I think. I could be wrong.
The venue should be open by then but I would call ahead to make sure - their "office" number seems to be (403) 244-2545.
