He's a Christian Identity Dominionist who wants out of the UN and any kind of international affair due to his NWO conspiracy paranoia. He's completely wrong on everything and the only thing he's right on is a coincidence. He's not a necessary evil, or a principled oddball trying to curve the excesses of congress and he doesn't have a rational dissenting opinion. He's just a stupid crazy old man who's folksy charm and awkwardness resonated with people who are the sperg equivalent of wanting a beer with him.

not to mention the fact that the further you turn the screws on poor parents (irresponsible or not) with "austerity," you're impacting innocent kids who did not choose to be born into that situation.  if you want to paint poor urban mothers and drug-addicted losers and their fathers as absentee sperm donors, fine, but keep in mind that there are kids that need help from somewhere.  they should receive this help from their families, communities, and, yes, the government.
