the name of that album by the Terrorists is "Terror Strikes." the violently racist music website has some of their lyrics, so that is always a good sign. i also wanted to toss in Jedi Mind Tricks, they've got a few good ones but the best may be "Violent by Design." Their return "Legacy of Blood" is pretty heavy as well.

Liquid Swords is definitely a great album. OB4CL is everything Richie said plus it literally created a whole genre. never mind that everything that followed was a pale comparison b/c that is how it always is. also, it is a double lp, i don't know if that is why it seems long.

Raekwon's - Only Built For Cuban Linx... may be the best hip hop album of all time (in my opinion) so definitely that.

If you are interested in recent Wu affiliate stuff (sub sub genre?)
Killah Priest - The Offering (not a member, was in an offshoot produced by RZA)
Hell Razah - Razah's Ladder (same offshot - Sunz of Man)
are two of the best rap albums i heard in 07.

some that have been mentioned
mc rens - shock of the hour
x-clan- xodus
paris - sleeping with the enemy
tim dog - Penicillin on Wax
if you can find a copy online there was a group called The Terrorists that were ok, but were pretty hardcore, on Rap-A-Lot, i think
also current on Rap-A-Lot, Z-Ro, particularly The Life and Times of Joseph McVey
as mentioned, Big L, on the first one (second one is posthumous) he says "i'm the type a nigga that will break into heaven with a mac 11 and rape christ"

Roughly 20,000 years ago the first humans evolved with the phenotypical trait, genetic recessive Blue eyes, blonde hair and white skin Albinism apparently was a sin to the original man, Africans So the mutants traveled North of the equator Called Europeans later, the first race haters So here's the Devil's alpha to the beta Cause history's best qualified to teach one Quoting German philosopher Schopenhauer "Every white man is a faded or a bleached one" Migration created further mutation Genetic drifts, evolution through recombination

the only thing that has disappointment me about chris kaman this year is that he has decided to have his breakout season minus the loner-murderer look.

ah, a roxy music cover. thanks.

it isn't that i like one and not the other., i guess tepid was the wrong word. i enjoy both 7"s, the roxy music cover less so. that said, that song has been in my head for the last day or so. anyhow, what i dislike about the s-s a side, specifically, is the chorus, the chorus when it first comes is in. there is something about it that sounds cheesy, for lack of a good descriptive term. that may sound dumb, but there you go. overall though, i was impressed with the song, and bought the hozac 7" cause i wanted to here more.

the hozac recording, to my ears, just sounds, not necessarily better produced, but richer. so i was just curious if the s-s came first. it would make sense if they were re-recorded and not from the same demo at least my ears wouldn't be completely lying to my brain.
