Most likely. If you can get a handle on basic logic and have good reading comprehension, it's not incredibly hard to get a pretty good score.

However, if in a few more years I find that any kind of fulfilling career isn't any closer on the horizon I might throw in the towel and become a lawyer or something. It's better to be miserable and rich than miserable an poor. Best of all though is to be content, which is something I highly doubt I'd be as a lawyer.

I wouldn't recommend this. Law school is extremely difficult, not to mention expensive. And there's absolutely no guarantee you'll get rich after law school. In fact, the odds are stacked against you. If you're looking for a good fall-back career, I think librarian is the most sensible thing that has been suggested.

This thread is starting to remind me of Mr. Holland's Opus....

While it is certainly difficult, it doesn't have to be expensive. If you nail the LSAT (given a month or so of constant practice), you can get really good scholarships at lower- and mid-tier schools.

Most lawyers in private practice at large firms start off around $140K, which may be a little higher or lower depending on location. Most lawyers at public jobs earn around $50-60K. There is not much in-between.

if you can get into a good law school it might be worth it. otherwise, in this economy, i wouldn't even bother with that.
