I just saw Trickknee selling a copy of the Blood Zombie 45 on ebay.  get on it.

It's a really good record, so I hope it goes for enough that I don't feel too bad for selling it.

great record.  the b side, her eyes, has long been a personal favorite.

This begs an even greater question: Eric Lastname is now a Q And Not U fan?

I always thought of him as more of a Rites Of Spring kind of guy.

i know he loves the pixies.

Dude, I hate that place. Actually, yesterday I got a pretty sweet haul. I had to pick megan up from there for some school project (SHE LOVES IT THERE!), so I looked through the LPs while I waited. I got an autographed copy of 30 Seconds Over Schaumburg by the Pezband and the Robert Johnson LP (The powerpopper white dude from memphis, not the blues dude). I also picked up an OG of Supersnazz there for $10 in great condition about a year ago. That place has the potential to haul in good LPs because of their former suburban location. I bet they get a lot of suburban people that want to sell them records. I don't even touch the new stuff, only dopes scour those sections.

i don't have the patience to even browse there because everything is so ungodly overpriced that it makes me angry.

I've gone for 6+years at least, and never really found a lot of good stuff.

Every single time I found something great or even better than average, I was buying it from Darius' (crim IQ) used record box,

yeah, these two statements sum up my experience as well.  i don't think i've ever got anything i was really excited about from there except for when i bought the first electric chairs 7" from darius.  everything else was stuff i could probably have found anywhere else.  and since i don't live within walking distance anymore it's just not worth it to me.

that said, i hope this year is different and there's a ton of good stuff that i miss out on.

dice some red potatoes, wrap them in some foil with a bunch of butter, rosemary, s&p, whatever the fuck else you like on your potatoes, and chuck them on the grill before you put your burgers or whatever on.  by the time the meat's done your spuds are too.

i also like vegetables on the grill, open flame tends to caramelize the sugars in them giving different flavor when cooked on the grill.  asparagus with some olive oil, fresh lemon juice and coarse salt on the grill is fantastic.  steak tips on skewers with pepper, onion, whatever is great too.

i fucking love grilling.
