You'd be surprised how much of this actually does go for money on ebay. There's a whole slew of kids trying to collect everything. I agree that most of the records were pretty lousy. I like Dillinger Four a lot and I don't even like their 7" on that label. The only other record on that label that I kept for any amount of time was Boris The Sprinkler's "Drugs and Masturbation". Which I find hilarious to this day.

What doesn't make sense about the "original plates" deal is that plates aren't good forever. They're usually only good for about 1000 copies. Even if the plates were made but never used you'd figure after 30 years they'd have issues. Sounds kinda dubious. However I will say those reissues were pretty much flawless.

Not sure if you guys will care or not but we went in and "remastered" the record. Basically we adjusted the levels to make it more even instead of going from super loud first song, quiet 2nd song, quieter third, mediumish volume fourth etc. It's the same mix and everything. You just won't have to keep adjusting the volume.

that's good news...  that alone makes it worth having another copy of the record.
