Not sure if you guys will care or not but we went in and "remastered" the record. Basically we adjusted the levels to make it more even instead of going from super loud first song, quiet 2nd song, quieter third, mediumish volume fourth etc. It's the same mix and everything. You just won't have to keep adjusting the volume.

Also...

Gold copies are still available. Too entice you stragglers I'll tell you guys that if you get a gold copy there will be a bonus CDR of stuff (not from the record). This is only available to people who go for the gold.

Oh and to make it worse/better, since we're using a new master there will be new test pressings. I'll send one out one random person who ordered a gold copy. I won't be taking requests but living in a town with a fucked up name...or having a fucked up name yourself may increase your chances.

I was just talking about this show...weird.
A friend of mine got drunk and rushed the stage during "...Eternity"...then the lid came off. Cave told the security to leave him alone and...blammo. Place got hairy for a while.

You can totally hear Nick say "leave him alone!" during that song. I remember it was a weird vibe in there because it was such a fancy ass theatre. You weren't even supposed to get up from your seat if I remember correctly

Yeah I highly recommend anyone who has even a vague interest in seeing him to actually get out there if you can. He rarely tours and is even at his worst he's better than everyone else...barring Tom Waits.

Thanks for this, I'm listening now.

Seeing Nick and the Bad Seeds for the first time next week. Not sure how much of the back catalog will be played, but luckily I do like the new record too. I'm also beyond excited!

I saw them a few days ago down here and it was good. They're waaaaaaaay looser than they were when I saw them 10 years ago. That was kind of a bummer actually. It was still really good though...especially if you like the new album. Seeing those songs live actually gave me a much great appreciation for them. Oh one word of merch advice...the book/cd they're selling for $15 is pretty cool but the little CD is just the album version of the song Dig Lazarus Dig and that's it. I thought it might be something special but it's not. The interview and art in it is pretty cool though.
