Music Shit / Re: Where should i print my 12" sleeve?

I've always heard it's better to buy more sleeves/jackets because there isn't much cost difference and if you do a repress it will be a ton more to do a new run.

How fucking amazing would it be to be on a 13 hour 1st class flight to Paris with Tim Gunn?

Who was it that said "I wish Tim Gunn would randomly pop in for the rest of my life" or something like that? That was funny.

And jesus, necktat guy had the biggest douche look on his face as he was strutting around the whole time.

95 Registrators Demos are great.

I don't know why most of those songs didn't end up on "Terminal Boredom" especially "Disco Idol" and "I Wanna Fuck Somebody".

There's a few gems on their demo CDs Jun sings that slay: Sweet Memory, Say You Love Me, off the top of my head.

bird flu = the modern swine flu. i dont know if you remember the swine flu or the asiatic flu. you know lymes disease and west nile virus. all of them are over hyped diseases that are pushed by the CDC and major drug companies in order to move drugs. I also think that they are cover for all the crap we've done to kill the environment and our natural immune system and health and make us prey to such diseases. the press blames people getting on planes and trucking this shit around. but what about the over use of antibiotics, shitty air & water quality, mass use of pesticides, high fat diets, low excersize, etc.?
I had west nile virus. It's real.

The Raptors deserve to get fucked.

That may very well be the case but I would expect better out of someone widely considered one of the league's 'good guys'.

Raptors ain't about shit, worst franchise in the NBA besides the Hawks.

As a side note, I was listening to Atlanta sports talk radio yesterday, and they were saying how lucky the Heat were to have Wade 'fall' to them at #5 in the draft and why don't those types of things happen to the Hawks? I thought first of all Wade was not a consensus baller coming out of college. He had knocks against him. And second of all, less than a year ago the Hawks, sitting at #2, could have drafted friggin' Chris Paul!!! That may have been a good move in retrospect.

I was pulling for the Heat because of Payton & Zo. I figure that this is Payton's last year and Zo has one two years more, the Mavs will be good for a while, let's see the vets get it.  Not to get all American sentimentalist but considering all the shit Zo has gone through healthwise... But I tell ya, the man lost me the minute he said that the first person he had to thank was his lord and savior jesus christ, who without god's help and guidance he wouldnt be there now. Okay I realize the guy had some rough times but to turn the NBA championship into a testimonial for the One True Sky God? the man has his faith and i am not going to begrudge him for that, but tell me how much the championship means to you and save the sermon for sunday.  Payton's interview was "I am glad my mom and dad were here to see this." He didnt go into the pleasures of parenthood and the importance of family. fucking Zo sounded like a god damn cultie.

I've never liked Zo. He should have said thanks to the Toronto Raptors for giving me $10 million after refusing to report to the team when the Nets traded him so he could sign with Miami. Weasel.

Wade is playing great, if anyone deserves the next MJ tag, it's him.. He just needs to develop an automatic jumper like Mike had.

Nowitzki #2....I think not.  Nowitzki is playing like a typical Euro cream puff right now and his shooting looks awful, Adolph needs to step his game up seriously.  This is the goddamn finals not some shootaround at Oktoberfest in Hamburg.

I normally hate all things Miami but I love to watch Wade. I could tell he was something special as a rookie when he took a pretty mediocre Heat team on a run in the playoffs. Look at the Marquette team he took to the Final Four. That Kentucky team they beat looked unstoppable. They haven't come close to the tourney since he left. The kid has got it.

Yeah, Ginobili and Kirilenko have proven international guys can take it to the hoop and lay it out on defense. But I think the point of the article is moreso than an increase in foreign-born passing, that the rules changes have hurt the way the premier defensive teams used to be able to slow down and shut down running teams in the playoffs and made it a viable system to win a championship.

man man man, i love this new crop of players. devin harris has been taking charges all night. wade has been good, astounding at times. there is just a very very cool flow to these guys game. the ball actually moves like the game intended it to do. no stuck in the hands of some jackass waiting to do a cross over or worse some shit bag like webber who eats the clock while he measures some shitty midrange clanker. and it is nice to see walker as a role player! maybe the string of spurs/pistons championships has proven that team work means more than hotdoggery. maybe it is the euro influence. maybe it is isiah putting marbury on the center stage of NYC and showing the world what one on one basketball leads to.

Great column by the great Bill Simmons on how subtle rules changes have allowed run-n-gun teams to go deep in the payoffs.

Yeah, I'm a Lebron fan. I'm not trying to slag his defense too bad. He'll get better.

The Celtics haven't shown to be much of an organization the last decade. I'd stay away if I were Wade. I think Grant Hill's contract comes off the books after next season. He could move to Orlando and win 3-4 titles with Dwight Howard.

And SSR was likely referring to Derrick Fisher, not Baron Davis.

He should have done what all those Florida guys are doing and go for one or two more years. Had he done that we would have had a better idea of what he was bringing to the league and he would have been more prepared.

Go Gators.

Few things:

I think the league is in good shape for the future. Everyone went a bit overboard for the immediate post-Jordan stars like Iverson, Garnett, Kobe, T-Mac, etc. but only Kobe has shown more than a slight ability to really lead a team, and not that much. I like this new group of stars a lot better and I think Joe Sixpack on the street does too. For the record Wade was drafted #5 overall behind Lebron, Darko, Melo, and Chris Bosh. Bosh ain't too bad a pick. That whole class was sick. Half the players are at least mid level stars. Pat Riley is a heck of a coach and did a nice job this year but he set it up to seriously tank in the next year or two. Shaq is owed $20 mil a year for 4-5 years and ain't gonna be worth it. Mourning, Walker, and Williams are all overpaid too. Haslem and maybe Posey are the only building blocks. If I were Wade going into the last year of his rookie contract, I'd think hard about leaving for greener pastures. Make Riley pay the piper, not him. And I'll chime in that Lebron's defense is not where it should be given his level of athleticism.

What's your take on "the dirty burgler?" ie breaking into someone's house, opening up their dresser, and taking a shit in one of the drawers?

Najeh Davenport?

I don't follow boxing too much but I was pretty impressed de la Hoya kicked some ass this weekend. I really thought he was about done and I thought Mayorga would bring some of the same qualities that let Hopkins kick his ass. Props to Oscar.
