have ordered, really excited about this record (surprised it's only 13 minutes since "witch" is on it, but i guess there must be multiple sub-60 second songs).

excellent title! ironic/proud/defiant and it sounds like a safer sex manual.

people ordering direct should definitely pick up the trash kit split too.

anyone going to see veronica falls & brilliant colors on the north american tour that's happening now?

i'd very much like to get hold of one of the split demos + more tapes. would of course cover full cost of tape + airmail (to the uk) by paypal but also send something physical by way of a thank you.  please pm if you can help.

a reunion of sorts (not billed as such: officially they're special guests of cinema red & blue) in london in a fortnight -- linton, wyatt & yoshi are going to play aislers set songs at fortuna pop's birthday show w/ the primitives ("please help me, tracy tracy"). can't wait.

downloaded this yesterday & probably listened to the whole thing six or seven times. will definitely order the lp in due course, hope it's going to be at 45.

household remind me a lot of yellowfever (who i love). had never heard of them before: have they released anything else?

Cities / Re: Brighton (UK)

rutabowa mentioned wax factor (a great shop) & rounder ... the other record shops of this ilk are mostly in the north laine, near w.f.

sydney street has:
punker bunker (in the basement of immediate clothing) - this is the hc/punk shop
across the tracks (corner of gloucester rd) - secondhand place

kensington gardens has:
resident - fairly standard mainstream indie shop
oxfam bookshop - sometimes has decent records
edgeworld (roughly opposite those, first floor above a clothes shop) - small indie place

gardner street has:
borderline - suspect this is the soundtrack shop rutabowa was talking about

then there's a ten minute walk towards the sea, to rounder in the lanes

one could hit up all these shops quite easily in an afternoon, but on a tight schedule & looking for hc/punk, garage, indie i'd say just punker bunker & edgeworld, maybe resident too as it's so close to edgeworld.

comet gain the howl of the lonely crowd -- possibly a bit more concise than previous albums, but basically it's the 'if it ain't broke don't fix it' approach: another great genre-flitting comet gain album that sounds just like everything from tigertown pictures onwards.

Music Shit / Re: Trash Kit LP

yep, ros (bassist) was in electrelane, i think for their third & fourth albums. verity from electrelane has done a bit of saxophoning with t.k. too.

the trash kit demo cd-r (13/17 of the songs from the s/t album, so effectively a rough/early version of it, mostly recorded as a bass-less two-piece) is going to be released this year on a new orleans tape label i believe.
