just picked up a sony sqr-8750 receiver for 150.

first one happened today. it was probably my fault, which makes the guilt factor soar through the roof.  i drive a retarded amount for my line of work.  shit sucks.  tried to run it off, and realized two miles in that i might have a concussion.  showered and drinking a beer.  i think i got off relatively lucky.  no one was hurt.  i'll get a decent return on my car, due to the fact it will be totaled.  worried about the other vehicle being totaled, just because the stupid air bags deployed (2001 sentra, blah).  ll in all, after an afternoon of thinking about it, it coulda been worse.

Where does one get into Zevon?  Inspired by the JWCIII cover on Steal My Mind.  I totally know this song from childhood...mebbe played by my uncle off of a Time Life Series or somethign to that effect....any advice would be great.

In honor of the most complete meal known to man.  I have been consumed with this for a good 5 years now.  Every town I visit, visions of steamy, meaty, fatty bowls of soup are one of the things I look for in my travels.  I live in a super white ass town, with my girlfriend living in Richmond, VA, which has a decent Vietnamese population.  During Totally Wired Fest last year, I found a damn good Pho place somehwere in the "hood" of Pittsburgh that was really fuckin' tight.  PLEASE, give me your best experiences.

I realized about a month ago that not being on a semi regular "exercise" routine fucking sucks.  so i picked up a russian kettlebell and started swinging it around.  i feel a whole lot better even though i look like a goon when i workout outside, due to my low ceilings in my apartment.

so i'm off to italy for work next month.  is it going to be hard to get out of the airport intact?  I have to take a train from Rome to Italy.  Are the big airports pretty English friendly?  I'm only there for a week, so i haven't really attempted to learn ANY Italian.
