The modern soul ones go for a grip, and even within that there are definitely ones that go for more than others .. Sir Prize and Kooly are the ones that come to mind. I'm not sure what the deal was with the actual event that went down in the 80s other than they held competitions within different regions, with the winner's jams getting pressed up.
