Looks like there is an official yahoo fantasy app for Android now. Lets here some reviews. The iPhone app just got good after the last update.

i was thinking people with 4 year old cell phones were at a slight disadvantage...but thats why they play the game!

Cities / Re: Top 10 Termbo cities...
« on: May 17, 2011, 11:28:23 AM »
what are termbo people?  i mean...i knew there were termbo's in my midst at HorrifyingFest last week...but i dont know names and faces and board handles (except the most dazzlingly handsome Russ Romance...who wasnt even there when we played anyway.  High roller in town now...gotta show up to yer fest late).

Termbos should be given ID badges and name stickers for positive id-ing at fests and such.  Or not.

Obviously, Buffalo is the #1 Termbo city as it is home to Chuck Barrels.  or #2.  since i live here too and points are docked for that.

what does the pre-releese cover look like?

think they had silkscreened tour covers before the actual covers came in.  no idea what they look like.

weird, sold this on here for like $10 not too long ago. didnt realize it was OOP.

its not OOP according to the band...but Parts Unknown seems to be....in parts unknown these days.

the band seems to think some remain, but nobody cant get at 'em at the moment.

jordan is an extremely nice fella, by the way.

Bummed to see the Sabres got knocked out tonight.  I remember looking at the score midway through the 2nd period though and I think Buffalo had 8 shots total.  2 shots total in the entire first period.  Not gonna win any games like that.

not gonna win any games letting your goalie get run or getting manhandled by shitbags like hartnell or carcillo, either.

team had not enough heart (a few guys did, including miller--not enough) and even less toughness and grit.  not a playoff team.  major changes needed.  hopefully the new owner means business, because they have an incredible goalie and some great young players.  how do you not show up for a game 7?   and we've had the same gm/coach combo for over a decade.

If anyone still needs the Red Krayola RSD 7", a store here has at least a half-dozen left. $10.95 + shipping + NYS tax + price tag stuck right to the sleeve. I'll do the legwork for termbros.

why do those bozos stick the tags right on the sleeve?  i went in there yesterday and snatched up the last Scientists 7".   ($9.98) and the 1"x1/2" price tag was superglued right to the cover.  and those used stickers they used to use were like 4 inches long and totally destroyed the cover.   after a quick walk around that place, i didnt feel so bad about my little hole in the wall after all.  unreal amounts of RSD shit left over from thos passed year, plus an entire section of unsold rsd stock from years past.  no purling hiss/puffy areola splits in site, though.

sabres played with some heart and grit tonight...nice to see.   that 5 minute elbow on Richards was suspect, though.  if that were called on the Sabres in a 1-0 playoff game, something would have been broken.  maaaaybe a double minor, but a major for that love tap? seems like a natural bodily reaction to put your arm up when you're about to get run.

refereeing in the NHL is always a small step above pro-rasslin'.  miller was "mad sick" tonight.  the team is slowly learning to protect him and realize he is the backbone.

Ultimately stores like that slit their own throats HOWEVER often they are the only game in town or have been around so long that that people think they are the only ones there. We've got a store in Sacramento which gets slagged on here from time to time, called the Beat. They are still trying to get people to pay $9 for a used CD. New vinyl seems to be mostly available as imports at $30+ a pop, something that I think they use to justify high prices on a lot of new domestic vinyl. They are the kind of store that prices Dischord stuff as imports because the sleeve says "Made in France". At the same time, they are notorious for underpaying people for stuff coming through the door. That has caught up to them. The used vinyl is very stagnant. The store is a shit hole. There is a good store down the street and over (Phono Select) which doesnt do the business it should. They try but the economy here is a fucker.

dischord lists their postpaid prices right on the back, too...which makes that even more ridiculous.   a label like that seems worthwhile to just do a direct order once in awhile.  ive had employees from the bigger store in town shopping at my store and buying the same titles they have because they are marked up so high over there, its still way cheaper even with their employee discount.   meanwhile a lot of major label stuff wholesales very high and gives you a suggested list price at a buck or two over the wholesale price--they brag about low list prices but the burden ends up on the store.  personally, we bite the bullet on a a lot of higher priced stuff because its embarrassing pricing a single lp over $20
