Even if it's only a temporary possession still stoked to get this (especially for what I'm getting for it!).  Also, perhaps listentotheletters could chime in here, but what's up with the date on this one?  '79 seems WAY early for such an ideological and stylistically Mod Revival record to come out of the Deep South.  There's no date listed on the label, sleeve or insert either so is this just guessing or drawn from some other source?

It's from 1984. Check again, it's on the label.

In the dead wax maybe?  Mine's got no date on the label atall.

Dead wax number starts with 84 - that's the only mention, probably confirmed with the band when copies were bought ten or so years ago.

Ha, I'm guessing that's probably the best part of the record. All indicators are that it's just a goodtime bar band who for some reason decided to wax not one, but two covers of "Wild Thing." A quick search shows these guys are apparently longrunning kings of the coveted festival/parade/fundraiser circuit.
