I love it, the dude has a freakin' tanning bed in his house, which makes sense as tanning salons are omnipresent here in North Providence. I can think of at least three within a mile of my house, including one owned by my second cousins (with adjoining hair/nail salon, natch....by the name of Get Nailed Hair. For real).

Woah, until last night didn't realize Pauly D hails from Johnston, RI. That's the town next to mine - he lives literally 10-15 minutes away from me!

I remember Ryebread telling me he just narrowly won or lost a Freestone on this new auction site called ebay. "Wow, cool, what's the URL?" "Type in E-B-A-Y dot com"

First purchase was an Accident "Kill The Bee Gees" in May 1999.

Second feedback is from none other than our own AA:
"if only every deal went this easily ! thanks jason !"

Ah, the good ole days....setting my alarm at 4 a.m. to manually plug in a stab at a Village Pistols within the last 10 seconds.

Steve, mostly black is standard, mostly white is limited. I should've written captions for the photos.  Oops.

No clue if it was intentional or not, but I just checked and somehow ended up with two white versions a decade+ ago. Dave, I think I traded you that white copy, right?

Regardless of if they blew live, those alternate Knotts sleeves are pretty cool. I've only seen/have the circle one. Need want would be minorly cool to pick up the other two...

Regal Select portion of the discography is in the works. All the sleeves and RECORDS were scanned in October (thank the 13% unemployment rate in RI for that). Just waiting on the words. At this rate, it'll be more like a photo gallery with captions!

I purposely avoided clicking on the "non-music shit" thread for three days until I could watch the rerun last night.

You beat, pounded, and stuffed your way to $25K. CONGRATS - it was fun rooting for ya!!!

The Agents "Modern Girl" c/w "You Don't Know What Love Is" (STREETWISE 1983 / No Pic Sleeve)

One of my favorite powerpop 45s:  A friend has "Modern Girl" on a homemade cd-r that must have passed through a lot of hands and the version is the same mix but edited to 3:45 whereas my 45 has a 4:45 version. Anybody have this single?  Wondering if there are 2 pressings of this?

Probably a Chuck Warner editing job for the "Teenline" comp. Not the first time that's happened.
56
I figured out all but the underbidder. Anybody naming names?

I'll be so disappointed if you don't smack down Eddie Chang's smug ass next week.

Congrats on landing in the final four!

I used to flip by that STORMWINDOW single for years on end....now I'm trying to remember what freakin' store it was!

GREAT pop record--not sure what qualms or expectations y'all have/had w/ it.  easily on my short list of best 45s of the 00s.

A mindblower for sure, catchy and fucked up and has that special "je ne sais quoi" quality. Their track "Control My Gun" on a World's Lousy comp is equally great.

Eric, I happen to have high-res scans on my computer. I'll email them to ya.
