AA's right, this one is incredibly tough to find. I first saw one at a friend's house in the mid-90s and never even saw or heard of another one until AA won the Crypt copy. I got Tom Lax's copy not too long after that on ebay for around $60, and thought I got off pretty damn easy.

Used Records For Sale/Auctions/Wantlists / MRR zines for sale - 1990s
« on: January 13, 2010, 10:41:58 AM »
Attention '90s nostalgia buffs! We know there's possibly one or two of you out there. I've got 46 43 Maximum Rock 'N Roll zines for sale. These were utilitarian issues -- read and handled, probably some written notes in the reviews and classifieds sections, some have light staining and yellowing, and who knows, there may even be a little dead spider or two hidden within the pages, as these were stored downstairs in the basement since 2001.

A buck a piece, plus postage, or if somebody wants to take the whole lot, or a good number of issues, we can work out a price.

Lots of reviews of all your 90s garage-punk faves, your Clevo HC bad boys, plus Shane White reviews and quite possibly many cameos by denkinger. Lap it up!

I ended my year on a high note.  Condition's kind of rough, but it's one of maybe 3 legit sleeves I know of.

Sweet! Where'd you turn that one up? Brian's copy from ebay a few years ago was the only original one I'd ever seen until I had luck with craigslist action last year.

LITCHFIELDIAN CITY:

Totally looks like someone you'd have seen on Providence's Federal Hill in the '80s.

And he's still beltin' it out, bro!

Agreed, and I cracked up when Marque discarded the "real" part of the asparagus and just served the stems.

Great job, Rachel! It was fun rooting for a Termbroad on real live TV. Next week's blender mishap looks intense!

Jeez Chris, you have three of these in your house at the moment?!

Stuff ending in a few hours. I urge everybody to check out the Left Nut "Burned Black" mp3 for some prime never-even-in-the-radar 90s punk jizz.

Music Shit / Re: The misleading eBay auction descriptions thread
« on: December 10, 2009, 02:34:56 PM »
The two white vinyl copies that cicophiloo has came from this same seller (who worked at a local radio station). These weren't listed on ebay but he must have been working the Albuquerque angle and lucked out. I'm not sure what he paid but presumably a lot less than the reserve.

I heard second-hand that cicophiloo got one of the white vinyl copies on ebay for $25. A collector spotted it in his completed buys. I'm guessing it was a buy it now, otherwise it surely would have been bid up by people with saved searches. The seller then had a second copy that he sold him for the same price. This was back in the summer apparently. Ouch, huh?

What a couple of clowns here!
73
Anybody know where the Gentleman Jesse / MOTO house show in Providence is tonight?
74
Excellent, will do, thanks for the fast reply!

I got two record #1s in my Psychedelic Horseshit double pack (both are the record starting with "Endless Fascination"). Anybody get two #2s and want to swap? Or CDR, if you've got an extra record #2, I'll send back one of my #1s.

Great singles club finale regardless, especially the Cheater Slicks!
