The term we always used was "Sport Punk".  From what I understand it was originated by Indiana PA scenester, record collector and future pharmacist Mark Zilner running to catch a bus in Boston w/a member of Slapshot.  He told the dude to run faster because he was after all, sport punk.

Pitt and the Big East are gonna be a lotta fun to watch this year. 

My beef with them is that come tourney time Pitt gets thrown off of their game because the officials from different conferences call the games a lot tighter and the Panthers can't muscle up as much.

For me deejaying has been a good way to get out of the house for a while, drink some beer and pick up some loot to buy more recturds.
 
I've gotten to be pals with pretty swell dudes and dudettes because of it too.  It's fun to kick it with Steve, Drugula, Danzigpicturedick, and a ton of others. 

But not that Vinnie, he sucks balls!
