Is anybody aware of anything going on with that Bad Noids band?  Saw them in Clevo and they are awesome, the CD-R I was kindly given doesn't sound too bad either.  Anyone doing something for these guys?

pretty sure that bad noids/pigsticker (same kid on vocals) are either soon to be or in the process of recording. pigsticker bassist plays in WFSTRKR as well, he told me about recording when we spoke the other night. i think young tom (vocals) posts on here.

i agree that most times restaurant.com is shitty, i wouldn't pay $15 for a $25 gift card that had stipulations on it, that seems pointless. not sure as to how the gift certificates work in your town, but in Cleveland most of the places forget to put alcohol on their exclusion list. so....

$25 gift card for $15 and you have to spend $35.
except today that gift card is $3
so you can get $35 worth of food/booze for $13 plus tip.
that's a good deal to this guy.

lady-friend and i are on the rocks, laid off from the shitty french spot i was bartending at, scored an ibook g4 for 100 bucks from some techno dj, no food, no cigs, lots of new tunes...

big star - keep an eye on the sky: excellent...way out west might be my favorite song by these folks...radio city is so much better of a record than the debut...had never heard their version of "till the end of the day". hot burrito 2 is killer as well...yeeeeah.

baseball furies - all-american pyscho: this came out my freshman year of college, and i know i should have heard it then, but today was the first time. so much sound coming from this, i love every song.

clockcleaner - auf-wiedersehen: nope, not even kinda.

granicus - st: oh shit those vocals.

can't believe i've never heard 'i'm sure we're gonna make it' by ivy green before.

purling hiss - hissteria: this is pretty much exactly where my tastes are these days. im not as into this as Ready to Howl, but it's pretty damn exciting.

and "let's get tammi wynette"...this is perfect, and that guitar is soooo out of tune during the solo...fuck yes

circle pit - bruise constellation: i see no difference between this and wavves. unleash the backlash. this is so boring i don't even feel like masturbating anymore.. the 1.5 liter of gato negro couldn't even save this shit...blah
