I went with Digital Leather for about a week when they were on tour. Kind of a brief stay. Got some BBQ. Went to the show crashed the night at a freinds house and then on our way.

I plan to eat at least 20 bbq sandwiches on this trip, including a few at Payne's. Should be easy.

I was in Memphis about a month ago and got to go to Paynes. I agree it was hands down the best BBQ I have ever had and 4 of us ate for under 20 bucks. Dont be a fool go to Paynes.

here ya go, for future reference

1 LP - 9 oz
1 2LP/single pocket sleeve - 15 oz
1 7" - 3 oz
1 cd/jewel case - 3 oz
12" record box + 12" cardboard slab - 6 oz

those are averages. 180 gram vinyl will weigh more than 9 oz. packaging variations will influence it. 

those are the weights I use to quote post when I am away from a postal meter. 90% of the time it is right on. the 10% it isnt the increase/decrease isnt a big deal.

Thanks for these totals. Im always doing the guessing game when I ship stuff and quote prices. This will help alot.

I'll promise to keep up on things so I can be a snob too.

Plenty of people in any camp with any taste are snobs.  But I dont see any of that behavior in this thread.  Most of the people here just happen to know of a million other records that are more interesting than anything Epitaph put out.  That's how come it gets a bad wrap here.  It's not really snobbery, it's just sort of "not liking it".

So I am gonna be doing a few short run 7"s and Im looking for a good place to get full color 7" covers done in short runs (300). I usually use Imprint when I get 500 or more.  Anyone have any good places they know of.
