I just found a stack of the Manikins "I want my dead "45's. They have the cover and are on the limited red wax. However they all have the wrong center stickers. They were a plant mistake that got destroyed however I kept a small stack and Im willing to part with a few now. So Its the limited edition red copy of the 7" but the center sticker is from "Digital Leather - Power Surge 7". Total weirdo copy. I only kept 10 of these before they got destroyed and I am letting 5 of them go for 4$ each plus postage.

I also still have some copies of  a few out of print LPs I found yesterday. They are all missing the covers but are unplayed new vinyl copies of

Tokyo Electron - AZ238
Black Bug - Self titled
Destruction Unit / Black Sunday - split lp
Digital Leather - Blow Machine
Kidnappers - Ransom Notes LP

make me a offer on some of these goodies.

The New Strange Attractor LP is up for preorder at www.fdhmusic.com. The first 20 copies ordered get a free copy of the bands "Just Looking" 7". Here is a little write up about the new album

"Strange Attractor have a long history in one of Canada?s most alien landscapes ? Sudbury, Ontario, so it is fitting that the aliens in Strange Attractor have made one of the most surprising, compelling and honest LPs of 2013 that no one will hear.
Highlights include the ?Total Shit? trilogy on the b-side. ?Feel Like Total Shit? / ?This is Total Shit? / ?I?m Total Shit? ? three songs that give you a 360 degree views from the dregs of modern life: making bad choices, feeling powerless against the will of people who make bad choices, and just generally having everything stacked against you and turning those bad vibes inwards. In the Strange Attractor land, when we point fingers we have to remember that we are simultaneously pointing at ourselves.
?Back to the Cruel World? will fail to get the attention it rightfully deserves. It will not get the head space it needs, the listening time required to unlock the riches contained within. Sure, there will be a few true believers who will wave the flag of Strange Attractor, who will herald this LP as a cornerstone of Canadian music in 2013, but they will be met with complete blank stares and people turning back to topics they are versed in whenever they try to spread the word.
Why? Strange Attractor are from a small town in Northern Ontario. Strange Attractor don?t tour much, and when they do, they tour in Europe where they are already massive punk rock superstars. Strange Attractor don?t have a street team, management, or a fancy P.R. person who can ?guarantee a Best New Music.? Strange Attractor don?t have a social media strategy outside ?making cool records? and ?making cool videos.? Strange Attractor are not hot 20-year old dudes. There are no drops.
But make no mistake, ?Back to the Cruel World? rules and is perfectly happy standing on its own, outsider status intact. When you find other people with Strange Attractor records on their shelves, give them the secret Punk Handshake? and congratulate them on their good taste."

For anyone that missed it the debut 7" from Primitive Hearts (originally on No Rules records) is now available again from www.fdhmusic.com in the store section under 7"s.

Here is nice little review of it

"The band spews out scuffed-up powerpop that has as much pent-up energy as Gentleman Jesse. It comes less rootsy and more awkward, but if you can sit still through the self-titled ?Primitive Heart?, we doubt you?d pass an empathy test. One of the of the scrappiest love songs of the year, it?s vulnerable without being sappy. The hook is ample, but the verse is what gets stuck in your head, swirling around uplifting major chords that shake you into submission. It feels like a sucker-punch before ?Believe Me?, which bellows with enough background ?oooh-ooooos? to make Shannon Shaw blush. ?Killing Time? hits a mid-tempo stride with a dirty lick and sing-along vocals before venturing into the minute long Flamin? Groovies stomp of ?Breakdown?. It could be the production by Elvis Christ, but the EP is saturated in the same ball-in-hand catchiness as Nobunny?s First Blood. Sure, it?s lacking the signature mania, but Primitive Hearts display an overall simplicity that?s done to perfection."- Zach Stephenson/ Get Bent (No Rules Records)

Gonna need to grab this. I really like the Bad Energy demo a bunch.

both of these get nice writeups in MRR this month. Kenny Kaos also ranked them both in his top 10 list in the same issue of MRR. We still have first press copies of both over at fdhmusic.com

What if I only pressed 33 and put it on square vinyl? Would I need the rights to do that??

Is there a Jay Reatard LLC or some shit like that? If Matador owns the rights then this is surely just a pipe dream of mine.

If anyone has a file of a bunch of acoustic stuff I would be stoked to be PM'd

...this might hafta happen just in my kitchen on MP3

Really the only way to even know if this is possible would be to talk with Jays old manager. He still handles all of Jays estate stuff. If you did something super limited you still would be doing it illegal and people could still come after you if they ever caught wind of it. If your seriously interested in doing this shoot me a pm  or hit me with a email at erictheill@yahoo.com and I will help you out anyway I can. I would love to see this happen and think we all need to do what we can to keep Jay alive to new people and even the folks who have already long forgotten about Jay.

Just offically released the God Mode / Living Laser 7" (co-released with Glacial records). Both bands are from the Hudson Valley NY area and both play old school hardcore.  We have a track from each band up on the fdh player on our page. The vinyl is limited to 500 copies (100 clear vinyl, 200 yellow, and 200 blue). We have a small stack of clear vinyl still avaiable over on our webpage.
