got my copy in a few days ago. Speaking as someone who has put out a bunch of Ryan's records and a couple of destruction unit records. THIS IS MY FAVORITE D.UNIT RECORD!

Outer Minds - Behind the Mirror (review from MRR) - "OUTER MINDS have released an LP that actually deserves the tag psychedelic garage punk. Other one-trick ponies pile on gang vocals and limp swirls only to end up crowned Kings of the Freakout overnight. These guys force nothing, other than attention to infectious songs that actually allow for tinges and deviations. Captured with the proper fuzz quotient, Behind the Mirror should be the next destination for fans of strange 60's inspired garage, punkily executed in the here and now"

Music Shit / Re: The Lost Sounds

SNIP

(wish I still had the shirt I picked up at this show!)

Alicja & Rich are still selling some Lost Sounds shirt here: http://electricratmerch.blogspot.com/p/shirts.html

I picked up the grey Electric Rat and black Gas Mask shirts last year.
I wish they still had the  skeleton playing synth available. I still wear mine that I bought in the early 2000's when I saw them. Mine is silver ink with glow in the dark neutral area on a black shirt. Best fitting tee I have and super rad design. Its starting to get some holes so one of these days I will probably make it a back patch on a hoodie.

Does anyone have any contact for this label? I guess they are no more (at least their webpage is no more and it looks like just one release last year). Anyways any help would be awesome.

I changed the heading to out now however its really a few more days till its offically out. We will offically be releasing this in the USA this Sat the 15th of December. The vinyl is in hands now at both FDH records and Resurrection records. The band also has their copies for the record release show on Sat @ the Empty Bottle in Chicago. I really love this record and think its must have in my honest personal opinion.

Im going to give everyone a last shot to get into the preorder giveaways. Any orders recived before the 16th of December thru FDH records will still qualify for the preorder drawing of giveaways.

We already have the album up and for sale on all the major digital pages if thats your sort of thing. Also you can stream the whole record over on resurrections bandcamp page. http://resurrectionrecords.bandcamp.com/album/behind-the-mirror.

Razorcake reviewed the Spent Flesh record a second time and gave another nice writeup-

"Blur/blender hardcore with a heritage that owes tips of the hat to Spazz and is in a contemporary league with Brain F≠ and Rose Cross. This may be exhibiting how dumb I am, but when I first heard ?electro-hardcore? over fifteen years ago, I was thinking of Spent Flesh, not Atari Teenage Riot. Spent Flesh is way more punk than hyperventilating techno. It doesn?t hurt that the band?s punk-informed up the wazoo: snippet odes to several Bad Brains riffs, wig-flipping nods to H?sker D? in the lyrics, locked grooves at the end of each side. Is it possible to simultaneously move the clock backwards and forwards? Does that fuck up the time-space continuum, like in thoseBack to the Future movies? One can only hope. Spent Flesh is the hovering skateboards of hardcore and simultaneously the white-light pain one feels after falling ten feet directly onto concrete. ?Todd Taylor (P.Trash, ptrashrecords.com / FDH / Sit And Spin)"

Pressing is wrapping up this week (man the pressing plants are moving slow right now). We still have the preorders up and going and qwill be letting people enter to win the giveaways until the records are at our door (also still have a few promo 7"s for the next handful of orders). We expect to have them sometime mid month and will do our best to get all preorders filled before the holidays. Outer Minds also have a record release show on Dec 15th at the Empty Bottle in Chicago on Dec 15th with Bare Mutants, Radar Eyes, & Blizzard Babies. For the digital folks this record is already available on all the major MP3 pages.
