The folks behind punx picnic set up a small record and media fair at Doc St Brewery. Its gonna be on the small side (8-10 tables) but still should be cool. Free to get in. 2pm-6pm. I will be their as well as some other folks. Here is some info about a few of the vendors.

A brand new sub-division of FDH records has started. Suicide Bong Tapes is a joint venture of me (Eric from FDH records) and Steve from Sick Chattel productions (the dude who books shows at JR?s bar in South Philly). The idea is to do all cassette tapes limited to 100 copies. We also plan on at least in the start doing just Philly bands. Tapes are 3$ each.

Spent Flesh - After A self released demo CD and a 10″ record on FDH/P.Trash/ Sit and Spin records, this Philly based weirdo punk thrash band is back. This tape collects a few tracks from the 10″ as well as 3 unreleased tracks.

Nightfall - Philly based Raw D-Beat punk featuring ex members of Dissystema blast thru 30 tracks on this tape. A collection of 2 out of print ep?s, a slew of unreleased tracks, and a live set.

Still working out some webpage stuff but got the basics up.

Reatard / Re: Better Than Something: Jay Reatard doc

It's flawed like crazy, but I'm glad it was made. Very sad in parts. I really liked the family stuff.
Yea it is. I found it real funny when Larry from In the Red made it sound like Jay threw together the Terror Visions recordings cause I asked Jay to do a record. Thats just not true most of that stuff was recorded years eariler.

got another track "Those Machines"  posted over at Pitchfork

I dont understand why anyone would not spend a extra 10$ to get a LP with extra live Jay tracks. Sure its not essential but its only 10$. And the vinyl was not limited to 500 just the red vinyl was limited to 500 the "true black" is not limited

bump for anyone who missed it. Still have a few 7"s to giveaway also.

Music Shit / Re: registrators

I stopped at 16 Wires because I think it sucks and repeated listens over the years (I still have it) sound even worse with time. Isn't this just further down the glossy pop road? Is it less awkward than 16 Wires at least?
I dont know the powerpop influence that started to show on 16 wires is something that really got me. If you did like 16 wires for the pop influence you will probably not like this one.

Worse than Pop Punk / Re: Talibam! update
« on: October 12, 2012, 09:41:21 AM »
This sucks and Talibam sucks. I used to live in New Paltz and play psych space freejazz and harsh noise stuff back when Matt was their. He used to act like he was the coolest shit. He always seamed to look down at other noise dudes. I dont know if your playing freejazz noise shit you really dont have the right to look down at others doing similar things.

Thanks for commenting everyone. I agree that this would not be a huge seller. Honestly I would head into this one planning on taking a loss. I would really just hope in 5 years I could break even on it. However I think the record is great and I know I paid 50$ for my copy a few years back on ebay.  It also looks like none have even shown up for sale on Discogs. Say what you will about their albums.Terminal Boredom is a classic.  I think Velocity is a stronger record then 16 wires (I like 16 wires but think its got some filler stuff on it, probably would be my favorite if it was a single LP). I just want people to have the option to get Velocity at a halfway decent price cause I think a lot don't have it just based on the cost.

I think that Kidnappers ransom notes LP I reissued was the same sort of idea. I did that one back in 2007 and Im just finally down to my last 10 copies or so. The main reason I did that reissue was to get it to the hands of folks without them paying 40$ for the first press.

Music Shit / registrators

So doing my record listen thru A-Z I hit the registrators today. First time I listened to them for years. I gotta say (and knowing I might get alot of shit for it) I think Velocity is my favorite of their records. Why is this record so hard to find? Does anyone have any sort of contact info for any of them as I would really love to reissue this one.
