The worst I've had is receiving an LP that was literally broken and bent over in three places. I just laughed at the state of the box. Don't know what the hell it went through to end up in such a state.

Even though I've got a specific place for the postman to leave packages sometimes they just throw the package behind my recycling bin. I had one that was there for about two weeks of rain and snow without me knowing about it. It was surprisingly OK after all that.

The Hunches at that skate ramp was pretty awesome.

Must've missed that. I did see some cool bands that weekend, The Dogs, Mr Airplane Man and Lyres stand out in my mind, but bands and audience got fucked over, the whole experience just left a bad taste in my mouth. I doubt I'd go to any event that guy is involved with again, despite how good it potentially looks.

Could be fun. I went to both Vegas weekenders in '00 and '01. But the one in LA after those was a disorganised fucking disaster, if that Ralph Carrera fuckwit is involved I'd be a bit cautious.

Also, everyone should watch 'Oil City Confidential,' the Dr. Feelgood documentary on BBC4 tonight at nine.  Its flawed but still worth a watch.

I thought I caught something on the news about mail going over land to the few parts of Europe that are still operating US bound flights. But, who the hell knows. It's still fucking chaos over here.

It's a great shame and both Bill's will be sadly missed. I still think of them (and refer to it) as Plastic Passion, even though they split in two forever ago. They're both real nice guys, especially if you're a regular. Shopping for records down Portobello just won't be the same when they're gone. The sad day when they close is Saturday 1st May (I asked at the weekend). I'll definitely be making a few final purchases on that day for sure. Over the years I've bought so many great records from them, everything from cheap ?3 or ?4 singles to KBD type rare shit for a few hundred quid.
